It is real thick gel. It is comfortable. I put it on top of my new exercise bike seat. The seat is strangely wide and short. The seat cover did not fit it as supposed. I placed it on top of the seat and tied it underneath with the ties. I moves around a little while getting on but not while sitting on it.

Wow this thing is seriously springy and cushy! I’ve never seen a bike seat like it before. It feels like it must have some of the square crossed gel it’s not hard dense gel it’s really got bounce. Magnificent comfort for the seat region. I need the extra padding due to a seat injury that makes it difficult to sit on hard surfaces. I got this to use with my stationary bike. It has a tightening cord at the back and cords to tie it at the front to secure it from slipping backwards. Fits great.I’m super pleased with it. So far I’d been using a large seat cushion to use the bike which was bulky and inconvenient. I’ve also tried their bike shorts with extra padding for women.
