Yokohama is a beautifully designed, immersive strategy game
Yokohama is a beautifully designed, immersive strategy game that takes players into the bustling streets of Meiji-era Japan. With its worker placement mechanics, players build businesses, manage resources, and navigate trade routes in pursuit of influence and success. The game is complex enough for dedicated gamers but accessible after a few plays, with each session offering new strategic choices. It supports 2-4 players, runs about 90 minutes, and is ideal for ages 14+. If you enjoy intricate strategy and historical themes, Yokohama is a fantastic pick!

BEAUTIFUL reprint of a great game
This is a solid homerun. Great dual-layered boards… beautiful artwork… They really nailed it on this one. Was already a great game but the production quality is far better in this version than what TMG previously had done

Not difficult, but a lot to sort out
Took the two of us, father and adult son, two hours to get through the directions, but then it was fairly easy and intuitive to play.

Beautiful production
The box and components of this game deserve much praise – the production value is incredible, with custom trays for tokens, thoughtfully dimensioned pieces that fit exactly into their compartments and gorgeous art.The gameplay is unfortunately not what our group is interested in – it’s interesting, but ultimately a bit too fiddly and point-salad-y with a little too much randomness for our liking, overall more of a mid-level difficulty game than something tight and founded on strategic thinking.

Fantastic game, fantastic art
Fantastic redo of an amazing game. The artwork is stunning and I like that it includes mini-expansions that released with the older game. Only downside is that the insert, while mostly functional, does not support sleeved cards. Otherwise, no complaints.

Great addition to an already great game.
If you have the chance to get this, do so. Deluxe bits always make any game better. This are no exception. They do fit in the containers provided in the base game box, as seen in the picture shared with this review.

Was sent used copy
Was sent used copy, no indication that is was used on the item or order. Shrink off, most bits punched. WTH??? Am currently checking to see if all the parts are there.

Some coins are in bad condition
Wood tokens are good, but some metal coins are in bad condition. Overall, I’m satisfied.
