Tricky yet amazing!!
I’ve had this item and was going to return for the bigger size, turns out I was not understanding how to do it. it is much easier to have an assistant. start by putting cat on their back on the top of the square, not on a corner (how one would do to a baby) hold the one arm up (helper) and wrap at the collar bone then gently pull the hind legs down and then wrap from the top to the bottom to seal them into the purrito! Works great for nail clipping or putting the silicon caps on. You could use it for administration of medication, I would recommend a cone or one of the blow up kind to protect your self from bites. Cat is comfortable in it, I give him a treat for reward, and his tail is happy. He has to have the nails set for a few minutes before he can pop them off. Very high quality MICROFIBER (for those with annoyance of that fabric on the hands, I use gloves.)

My cat loves this thing. I use it when I have to wipe wash his face down or trim nails. It sticks to itself beautifully, I wish it were a big larger, but he seems to be pretty docile with just his front paws swaddled down, so the back ones just hang. This is the best thing I have bought for our new cat, so far. 🙂

Practice Makes Purrfect
While searching for a better method of restraining my cat for grooming, meds and care, etc., I came across this kitty wrap. I’d read about swaddles and purrettos, but my previous attempts using towels were not terribly successful (glares and ouch!), I had my doubts how well this material would hold a feisty cat in place. But, surprisingly, the fabric of this wrap adheres to itself very-very well! It allows you to gently and securely wrap your pet, making grooming or medication-giving much easier.The gray side of the wrap is the adherence side, while the graphic side is softer and more comfortable for the pet. At 28 x 28, the square is not huge and you will need to practice your wrap-technique several times – the quickly and more smoothly you can deploy and achieve the wrap, the less unhappy your kitty will be in the process. And keep yourself calm too; this is learning for you both and your cat will read your emotions. If you keep mellow, he or she will be more mellow too. So practice on pillows, get familiar with how the material folds and adheres and have a plan before you go live!The wrap came with no instructions or tips regarding the above, so check out some vids on purretto techniques. if you have multiple cats, you may want to invest in an individual wrap for each, building comfort by maintaining individual scents on personal wraps. It does get easier!

This might be good for a kitten, but like most people have said, it’s on the small side. My cat got out of it twice while I tried to brush her teeth and she’s a bit over a year old and 14 lbs. I did like how the fabric stuck together.

This blanket is a money saver. I use it to wrap my cat so I can brush her teeth every week. It’s escape proof. The vet wants $600.00 to clean teeth. This is a great invention.
