Highly sensitive but easy to use
I’ve suffered from high blood pressure for decades. So I’ve bought a ton of cuffs over the years since I try to check my blood pressure at home. If I rely on the readings at my PCP office they put me on way too high of a dose of meds. I have severe trauma from Western medicine providers as a Neurodivergent and multiple other disabilities, assigned female at birth, person living in poverty. So my BP can jump as high as 180/100 at medical providers that stress me out. Having a reliable blood pressure monitor is a must due to this reaction.This cut is one of the better ones I’ve owned. It is really sensitive. So what I do is make sure I’ve used the bathroom, not taken a drink of anything, and stay relaxed in my seat for about 15 minutes before checking. Also make sure your wrist is at heart level. I actually find I get a higher reading if I hold my wrist to my chest like I see others do. What I do is sit in my computer chair that has an rests, keep my legs uncrossed and on the floor, sit up straight yet relaxed, and rest my elbow on the arm rest and angle my wrist up and away from my body a bit.I also check my BP 4 times in a row, one right after the other (after waiting about 1 minutes in between each reading), to get an average reading. Sometimes I’ll tense and not realize it and this cuff is so sensitive it’ll tell me my BP is really high, then 2 minutes later it’ll be perfectly normal. That’s why I do an average.I like that this is easy to use and read. I don’t like the voice notice. That makes me tense up so I turn it off.Even though I can check my BP 4 times every day, the batteries actually seem to last much longer in this machine than others I’ve used with the same rechargeable batteries.The only con, which I went even deduct a star for, is that I’ve never had it notify me of batteries being low. Even when it gives odd readings and I suspect the batteries are low and change them to fully charged ones and the readings get normal… I guess it keeps functioning until it just won’t pump up anymore. But that makes the readings either too high or too low and not accurate. So just be mindful that if you get readings you don’t think are accurate and you haven’t changed batteries in a while, to change them. Don’t rely on the machine to notify you all the time.

I bought this a while back due to a unknown health issue i am still trying to figure out. After reading the instructions and trying it out it talked and told me what my blood pressure was. The voice is not loud but it will wake you up if you are half asleep in the morning. There is no way to turn down to voice or shut it off besides taking out the batteries. I learned to stay very still and keep your arm at the level of your heart for a accurate reading, my advice when using this is whatever you do if you just come got finished doing some activity like running/bending over/etc wait a few minutes before checking your blood pressure or instead of being a green(good level) you will have a red level(bad level). Scared me when it went to the red the first time but i just did some physical activity and that was the cause of my blood pressure being sky high.

USES AAA Batteries so easy to keep running. Really GREAT instruction sheet. Laminated and Very large, Easy to read and program. Company solicits questions from anyone who needs assistance. Very happy with the device. Good value.

this machine was a wastew of time and money. it does not give you the correct reading it must be from another country. i took it to my doctor and he could not understand it. i took it to another doctor and he couldn’t understand it so DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
