Would have bought the one with a larger display
Received very quickly, installed on my incubator to compare the two difference of both thermostats and the digital one I bought was closer. They came 3 to a pack and I find the price was not bad, I just went ahead and bought 2 packs for the future. You can use these in all sorts of was including checking refrigerators thermos and humidity.if I would by again I would by the one with a larger display.

Used for hermit crab habitat
You get three new meters from the same company, and they still don’t all agree on the humidity. In all fairness, I have had numerous types and brands of meters, but only one gave an accurate humidity reading.I always perform a 24-hour salt calibration test to see just how far off they are before using. It is a good habit to get into if you rely on humidity levels for whatever your hobby may be. Look on YouTube for instructions.I’ve purchased six of these inexpensive little meters, which usually run 2-4% off in either direction. I have also used $20-$30 meters that were 9% off.I actually prefer these because they have the separate sensor, and the meter can stay outside of the habitat. The 80% humidity requirements in a hermit crab habitat seem to shorten the lifespan of digital meters and I have had a few where the readouts went wonky too soon (entire meter was inside the habitat).

Work great
These little things are awesome! They work great for all sorts of scenarios. I use mine in my incubator for more accuracy. The thing i like about em is that the humidity AND temperature are showing on the screen.

Broke really quickly
I was really thrilled to find these. I think they are reading pretty accurately and I was able to put all three in different parts of my snakes enclosure to get a full read of her enclosure. The cords are long and and allowed me to move the thermostats in different areas while still having them read on the front.Unfortunately, they break super easilt which makes me nervous about their reading accuracy. I didn’t think I had any problems but im worried over time. Im not sure if I just got a faulty two, but one still is holding up great. One when I got it had a little bit of open wire at the connector to the probe, but I just used that one on the outside. But one that I was using on the inside completely broke off (see photo) after less than 3 weeks of use. I was simply moving it and I noticed wires exposed and when I went to inspect the probe is just came right off.Im hoping I just had a faulty batch. Im really upset as I was gonna buy more for my other enclosures

The screens have poor QC and came with some dead batteries
When these arrived, two of them are dead, one of them had a messed up screen, and the other three looked okay. After switching the batteries around, I now have four of them functioning and looking normal, while one of them just has a messed up screen. You’re supposed to be able to look at it straight on, but it has a weird viewing angle where you have to look at it at an odd angle for it to be legible. It also sucks that because two of them had completely dead batteries, and they were all probably manufactured and packaged at the same time, the batteries in the others are probably not far behind so I have to get new batteries for all of them which is an extra cost. I’m going to still give them a try though, because they were pretty cheap, they have probes, and their temperature and humidity readings are all pretty close to each other. If you’re on a budget like me and you need a lot of them, I guess I recommend them, but if you’re willing to spend a bit more money I would get something else. If these turn out to be trash I will not hesitate to replace them with more expensive ones.

These seem to be the most accurate, but they don’t last long about 6 to 8 months.
I have used many moisture meters and temperature meters, and have not been happy with most of them. These meters last from about 6 to 8 months on the battery that’s in them. Changing the battery for me has not worked. So I buy boxes of multi units, and change the full unit when they go out. When it comes to hermit crabs, the moisture, and the temperature for some of the most important things.I am legally blind, and can still see the moisture number on these units, however, I do need someone to help me read the temperature because it is small.

Easy to use.
Very good for coops and brooders. I placed in bottom of brooder, set to 95 but themp shows over 100. Cut dial back on brooder plate to 85 now 97degrees.

Don’t use if you have to know what temp or humidity is. Out of 3 that i got only one is close‼️
Unit is all the place over both temp and humidity . Not very accurate.
