Excellent, Top-of-the-Line Supplement
Resources is one of the most trustworthy companies out there, and this particular supplement has been recommended to me not only by our traditional vet, but by our holistic vet as well. If you compare these ingredients to those in other supplements on the market you’ll get a sense of how well-formulated these tablets are. My girls are 11 and have been taking these antioxidants for years. Their only vet visits to this very day have been their annual checkups and little chiro adjustments as a precaution, to keep them aligned (they’re part Dachsund) — that’s it — NO health issues to speak of, EVER, knock on wood! Is their great health due only to this supplement? Likely not. However, I do trust that it contributes to their healthy immune systems.

Better Value
My dog has chronic & severe skin issues down her back. She’s a Scotty-Schnauzer mix. She gets the classic bumps, and has oily, flaky, & smelly skin that can only be controlled by frequent, medicated baths and Prednisone. She was on Select Antioxidant by Vetoquinol. That really changed my dogs symptoms where using only the Rx didn’t. There was less smell, flaking, need for baths & virtually no bumps. My understanding was that this would boost her liver function in light of her lengthy use of Prednisone but the skin improvement was a great bonus! Vetoquinol is pricey for a 60 count bottle. Don’t get me wrong, the pricing is way better thru Amazon (vs thru the vet) but this version by RESOURCES has 120 pills in the bottle so its TWICE AS MANY for almost the same price as the other brand. I sent this product’s Amazon description to my vet & she said to go ahead & switch to the Resources. Same great results. I recommend!!!

Healthy and Natural
I ordered these as my vet has my dog on a holistic regimen of natural remedies for her lymphoma which is NOT curable. We don’t intend to cure her, but just keep those tumours at bay for as long as I can. I have also started my other dog on this now while she is young possibly to “ward off the evil spirits” as they say. I switched their food to holistic Blue Wilderness which Amazon carries and subscribe and save for the best price. You can’t beat it. It is all anyone can do with a budget.

she is so much more comfortable, sleeps peacefully
We rescued a black lab about 6 years ago now, and she has always suffered from constant itching. There was never any dander, or dry skin, it was a mystery. We tried almost everything, grain free diets, coconut oil in her food, benadryl, fed her boiled chicken and steamed brown rice only, but nothing ever stopped her from scratching…Until I found this product on Amazon! Since she’s been eating them at mealtime, we noticed the difference immediately! She likes the way they taste and eats them readily, she is so much more comfortable, sleeps peacefully, has great energy, and does not scratch anymore! A much happier family!I couldn’t ask for a better result! Thank you to the manufacturer’s of this product, it is a true blessing for our lab.

This is a great product
My sharpei girl used to get severe ear infections as frequent as twice a month. She’s been on these for almost two months now and no more ear infections. This is a pretty great product. It has given us a lot of peace of mind and a better quality of life for my baby. Thank you, I’m so glad i found it.

he is 13 years old and my best friend. The Doctor prescribed Canine Antioxidant
I called my veterinarian Doctor about the cloudiness that showed up in my dog’s eyes over night; he is 13 years old and my best friend. The Doctor prescribed Canine Antioxidant. When the tablets arrived, I gave Max, that’s his name, half a tablet. The next morning his eyes were back to normal. He has been on the Canine Antioxidant’s for a week and no reassurance. I am very pleased with the results.

Concerns with Ingrediants! Please consult!
I did some research on antioxidants for my dog, who has a degenerative heart condition.Quick conclusion: this product is not safe for heart conditions, as well as potentially not for any dogs.My first concern is how the label says “available through veterinarians only”, yet here we are.Take a note of one review that mentioned how these made their dog critically ill.INGREDIENTS LIST:Green tea powder:-Green teas are not recommended due to the high caffeine content.N-acetyl L-cysteine:-some dogs allergic; use caution.Inactive Ingredients:1) distilled monoglycerides are not ideal, they weird to obesity and heart problems. They are commonly found in processed foods and potentially derived from grapes, which can be toxic to dogs.2) magnesium stearate is a salt (not good for heart problems), is known to suppress immune systems, and irritate bowel lining (symptom my dog has been showing lately after I started these before I knew better).3) microcrystalline cellulose: a filler with no benefits.I recommend finding a more reputable product. I’ll return here to edit this when I find one.

She also didn’t like this tablet very much
My senior dog has incontinence problems – which has mostly been in control by using Vet Classic’s Incontinence tablets. Once I added this to her daily regimen – her incontinence problem worsened. I had to toss it half way in to the bottle. Not sure what it is, but my dog didn’t react well to it. She also didn’t like this tablet very much..always spit it back out unlike the other tablet she took.
