It is basic, inexpensive and works fine
The season has been unseasonably warm and I just moved to a place where I do not have covered parking. My black car with black interior was getting extremely hot and besides being uncomfortable, I was worried about the sun/heat destroying the interior of the car. I looked at custom window covers but I wasn’t ready to pull the trigger so I was bought this for under $10 and gave it a try. It has worked great. Some reviews complained that it was difficult to fold up — I did not have this problem. It folds back up into a small circle and can be placed it the envelope case with very little effort: turn the left side and right side of the larger circle in opposite directions and it folds into a small circle. If you’re curious if a sun shade will make any difference for you, this is a good way to find out. It has made our car much more comfortable this summer.

It does keep the car cooler
Like: keeps the car cooler (black interior), easy to useDislike: it’s a little flimsy, it comes vacuum-sealed which makes it a bit tricky to open for first useIt’s a little big for my car, so the stiffening rings overlap a little, but no big deal, as the next size smaller would have been a touch short. It is easy to use, and that makes up for any shortcomings. Open slowly and carefully the first time, so that you don’t peel the silver backing off the reflector side. So far, it has held up under the desert sun. Others have failed within a week. The only thing that cost it that fifth star was the vacuum packaging made it quite tedious to open the first time, and it lost a few tiny bits of the silver backing. Worth it, though, as I expect this shade to last longer than the previous shades I’ve tried out.

Large and awkward, and worth it.
This sunshade is a bit too large, which is odd because it lets light in at the corners.It folds down into a frisbee sized disc quite easily.It keeps the sun and the heat at bay. I normally prefer ‘cute’ sunshades but the heat is getting worse and I am becoming less tolerant of it. This sunshade is shiny and thick enough to do its job.

Fits great and size right.
Size was perfect,but it was so tight it pulled some some of the silver off in places. Somewhat disappointed in quality. Would not recommend this item.

Impossible to fold
Couldn’t get this folded back to store. Struggled with it in a parking lot and probably offended people with the cussing that ensued.

Works great for a semi truck
It works great to keep the light out of my truck. It is a little awkward to get put up but with each time it gets easier. For the Velcro that you stick over your passenger and driver side window make sure you clean the area with a Clorox wipe or Lysol wipe and let it dry before stick it up there. There is a few small gaps but that is to be expected for a universal sun shade. I have a 2025 Volvo VNL 860 the new body style and the windshield is longer for the top to the bottom then most semi trucks for better aerodynamics and it covers like 99.95% of the windshield. I can get it folded back up to get it in the storage bag it come with you just have to play with it. Well worth it if you want more privacy and to keep the temperature regulated in your truck.
