Takes up minimal space on the console
This compact, expandable cord requires minimal space on our vehicle console, but expands when you pick up your device to use in without disconnecting. We mainly use it for our Apple CarPlay, which has a dedicated Type A connection on the dashboard. Our phones are now converting to a Type C from the previous lightening connections, so we had to replace them. I like these chargers, especially for the iPhone 14 that has the weird charger works well with my portable and two at a good price point. One of them seems to work better than the other, but I don’t know if that has to do with using one with my portable charger and one in my car, but I’ve had these about a year and they still work well. Really like the size and extension of the cord length.

Cord is neat, however connectivity issues
Exactly what I was after. I needed it without the extra slack in the cable however some connectivity issues. I have a Samsung S22 Ultra it does connect sometimes saying “slow charging ” sometimes not charing at all as if it were not plugged in. The cable worked flawlessly in the first month of having it but I suppose it can’t handle so many plugging in and out. I’ll consider rebuying…

I purchased these for an upcoming road trip since I knew between Spotify, audiobooks, and calling people my phone wouldn’t last the 11-hour drive. I plugged this into my car and my phone, and then proceeded to wait for a charge that would never happen.I did some research at the time. I honestly can’t remember if it was due to my new iphone or the model of my car, but these “fast charging” cords weren’t up to the task and were unable to pull in enough power to even maintain the percentage I had on my phone.I opted not to return these since they were relatively cheap, and time is money. These could work for you based on your phone and vehicle; however, I would definitely do your research first (because the last thing you want to do is find yourself ready to head out on the road and without a way to charge your phone).I ended up purchasing a portable charger for around $20-30, and it worked out great. It takes a while to fully charge, but it’s great to have on hand for road trips and potential power outages.

My 2020 Forester uses a wired connection for Apple CarPlay and when I first upgraded to an iPhone 16 with the latest OS the connection Apple CarPlay did not work when connected with my old cables. Based on reading forums online this is apparently a common problem. These cables solved the problem, and I like the curl, so they stay neater in the car.
