We have three small to medium dogs (large dachshund, corgi, and chihuahua). This works great for them. Before we had this, our dogs would sit on the back seat and slide or fall down on the floor board.-Straps that hook on roof handles, you can still open the window for dogs to look out.Cons-Straps that hook on roof handles, one broke, clip came off and could not be put back on. Grips are made of plastic and is cheap. Had one before that was the large heavy duty push, snap, and release with the hook teeth and was better made. ** But you can buy a different one and use it if hook breaks.**———I love that it keeps the dogs contained. Our dachshund is an old girl, and she would always fall into floor board and could not jump back up on seat. So was always stressful for her… but now she’s contained in this basket along with our other dogs, and it’s so much better.Happy with purchase, there are cheaper ones, but really, like how thick this one is strudy and well made. I just wish the straps were better..the heavy duty ones.But I would definitely buy again…and recommendation if you have small or medium dogs. I have used this product in my last two cars to protect my rear seats. My big dog likes to go swimming, play in the mud, and track sand everywhere. This thing keeps all of that contained and off of my seats. I even had a dog pee on it, but since it is water-proof, it was contained. It is a great material, fits perfectly in my backseat, and I have had no issues with it. I love that it can be used as a hammock or just as a seat cover. It is also very easy to pull out and wash when needed.

But my jerk dog just leans over the side to throw up on the floor lol but at least he doesn’t hit the doors or in between the seat and the door. It’s heavy duty and easy to install, although there is a lot of steps, it doesn’t take long at all. After the incident I mentioned, we hosed it off and put it in the washer, washed well with no issues. Quality stitching and straps. Definitely would be worth the price if my dog wasn’t tall enough to reach over the side lol
