Does not fit Zepbound pens
Giving 5 stars for how beautiful this product is. However, I am looking to store 4 Zepbound pens and this only holds 1 pen. Highly recommend if you have smaller/thinner medications!

It does what it promises, works well, though some concerns.
I got the insulin cooler set with the thermoelectric cooler attachment and the second lid that only has the thermometer. So far, it’s working pretty good and the kit gives you plenty of options to keep the medicine cool. Everything feels reasonably sturdy, maybe not exceptionally sturdy but they don’t feel cheaply made. The instructions warn you not to use the freezer pack or the ice cube tray with the electric cooler, which makes sense. If they melt, the condensation and water might ruin the electric cooler. You can’t double up the cooling effect with both the ice and a battery pack powering the electric cooler on the go, but you can wait until the freezable pack is melted and swap to the electric cooling lid as a backup. The electric cooler has a fast mode and an efficient mode. The fast mode is for wall outlets to get the insulin cooler faster, vs efficient for working off battery banks longer. The fast mode, plugged into a wall outlet, brought the temperature down to 5 C (41 f) in about 10-15 minutes. I set it to 2C, the lowest setting, but for some reason never went lower than 5c. The fan noise seemed to slow down at 5C, as if it was intentionally staying there. I stuck my hand inside, and yes, it was cold enough to store refrigerated medicine. The insulation-only lid has no immediately apparent battery door for it’s electric thermometer. There are two screws under the lid, though I was not about to try disassembling it, since it didn’t look like a normal battery door. The instructions say nothing about a replaceable battery in the lid either. There ARE thermal based mini power generators that generate power as long as one side is warmer than the other, and this *could* be using one, though I can’t say for sure. More likely, it’s using a tiny battery, and when it dies the thermometer might never work again. It’s a perfect emergency medicine fridge as long as you have electricity or a frozen ice pack. Imagine being able to power this off solar panels during a camping trip or a major power out, and not have to power a full sized fridge to keep your medicine usable. The capacity may be a bit low depending on the size of the medications, though it holds 3-4 insulin pens without issue. The “last resort” plastic ice bucket might only hold 1-2 pens at best though.Overall, the quality is pretty good and it does what it promises to. Other than the thermometer potentially becoming unusable on one of the lids if an internal battery dies, the only complaint I can think of is that the price may be a little on the high side. If this was only 100 dollars when I got it, hands down I’d rate it 5 stars. At the time of writing, it’s on sale for 150, which is a bit hard for me to swallow when a perfectly good insulin case is only 20 bucks. It’s not *unreasonably* expensive for it’s quality and the peace of mind it provides though.

Comparable to the 4AllFamily ‘Voyager’ model
This medication cooler is a thermos-sized mini refrigerator that will keep your meds cold indefinitely, as long as it’s plugged into a power source — whether that’s an outlet in your house, a beefy power bank, or the USB outlet assigned to your seat on the plane/train.This med cooler is comparable to the 4AllFamily “Voyager” model, which I also own. I will be comparing the two in this review.Pros of the PETSMYA cooler, or ways it is better than the Voyager:- Way better-looking.- Costs less.Cons of the PETSMYA cooler, or ways it is worse than the Voyager:- Only shows temperature in Celsius: 2°-8° C (36°-46° F).- No obvious way to change the battery in the lid that shows the temperature. (Maybe by removing the screws?)In all other aspects, this PETSMYA cooler appears fully comparable to the Voyager: the time it takes to cool down initially, the temperature maintenance range, the auto-shutoff function, the capacity, the accessories, and the power requirements (both take 5v to supply 10 watts).I do, however, wish the manufacturer of this cooler had included more information about one thing: Whether it needs to have a certain time span where it remains “off” (like for 15 minutes every 24 hours) to let the components rest and prevent overuse malfunctions. The instructions that come with this unit are sparse and suggest that it should only be used with ambient temperatures between 0-35° C (32-95° F). Although the manufacturer doesn’t come right out and say this, the temperature range suggests — just as with the 4AllFamily Voyager — that this unit can can only provide a maximum cooling of 50° F lower than the ambient temperature.I take two medications — a GLP-1 and an interferon — that need to be kept between 36°-46° F (2°-8° C). The GLP-1 can be left out at room temperature for up to four weeks if needed, but the interferon cannot and must be refrigerated at all times, save for brief excursions when administering the med. That makes traveling with a cooler like this essential.Another reviewer mentioned that he couldn’t fathom the price of this medication cooler because “a perfectly good insulin case is only 20 bucks” — that’s a ridiculous and obtuse comparison. You know those brick-sized cases with the frozen gel packs that stay cool for up to 24 hours? I have a few of those, too. They aren’t even in the same ballpark as this med cooler, which is a *MINI ELECTRIC REFRIGERATOR* that will keep your meds cool *FOREVER*. A brick-style case can’t do that.

Yes, and a little no. Only fits TWO mounjaro syringes…
I purchased this PETSMYAInsulin Cooler Travel Case TSA Approved 4-7 Medical Pens,Medication Cooler for Travel with Stainless Steel Ice Ring,Electric Cooling Diabetes Travel Case for All Insulin Pen Models (White).I have mounjaro which needs to stay cool and I’m going on a driving trip for a month. So I was excited to get this as I needed to store 3 syringes of mounjaro to travel with. This is very functional, once you get used to only reading temps in Celsius. The container is incredibly durable and heavy duty-its also heavy. A fairly substantial weight.I like the sleek design and white color with silver trim.I appreciate the charger AND the power block. The instructions were just a little confusing, but once you start using the cooler, understanding how to operate it gets easier.Remember that this cooler is limited to keeping the contents 50° cooler than the surrounding temperature. My biggest disappointment, and reason for reduction of my rating, is that I can only store TWO mounjaro syringes in this. No matter how hard I tried and what configuration I tried, two is the max I could fit in – and that’s without the inner freezer ring…So, I’m still going to need that old standby zipper and freezer packs insulin case to store one syringe. I was so upset to spend nearly $180 to find out the storage capacity was limited. If you have ozempic, 3 of those style syringes WILL fit in this.Unfortunately for my needs this doesn’t fully suit, but you may find this fills your storage needs and would be a good value.
