Bought this for my husband to install in his 2005 Silverado that has the original factory stereo with no Bluetooth or Aux In connector. It was easy to setup and install and get it working with his Android Galaxy S23 using Android Auto. He did have to update his Android Auto app on his phone to get it show his music on the screen instead of the built-in News app. It is setup to broadcast to FM to his truck radio and it works well and sounds good. Everything works well and the touchscreen makes it easy to use. Now he has a GPS navigation screen and streaming audio in his old truck. He has not installed the rearview camera yet due to local weather.

Ease of operation
I absolutely loved this carplay 7 inch screen. It was so easy to set up. Connects to my phone quickly whenever I get into my truck. GPS is awesome also. I hooked up the rear view camera which was simple to do. The whole system is incredible. I would never imagined something like this wouldn’t need to be completely wired in like any sterio usually is. If your thinking of getting a new sterio system, get this. You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas as her car didn’t have a backup camera, she absolutely loves it, it was easy enough for her to hookup herself. She said her music connects through the carplay to her car speakers and sounds great, screen is a perfect size to see and not be in the way of her sight while driving. I highly recommend.

Good deal, does exactly what you want and is easy to use
My wife got a newer car with android auto and I was jealousy with my older car but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This was perfect, upgraded my 2013 car without issue. Used my car’s aux input, still use my car’s back up cam, but this detects my phone, gives me the traffic from android auto, and hey google works perfect. Some tape and cable management and you’re golden.
