Quality product!!
My son is obsessed with sharks and this was perfect!! They are really good quality, he plays with these all day and takes them everywhere— park, beach, bath time, etc. The color is accurate and these look like the real sharks and not generic… making it easy for him to name the sharks.If your kids enjoy sea animals, I’d say get them! These are perfect for teaching them about sharks and/or just having fun.

High quality highly detailed
These are high quality highly detailed turtles and tortoises. I bought them as a gift for my grandson. He loves turtles. These are incredibly detailed and exquisitely painted. Highly durable. Can be taken in the bath or just put on a shelf for display.

Unique and very cool selection
This set is way cool. I wanted a eurypterid (sea scorpion) and this was the only set of toys I could find that included one, but it also includes an assortment of other prehistoric superstars. You get a trilobite, two different ammonites, large and small belemnites (huge difference in size between them), a galeaspid fish, dunkleosteus, anomalocaris, and opabinia. When the set arrived everything had a weird gritty feeling to it, like the toys were dirty. However, I washed all of them with dish soap and the texture went away. A couple of flakes of paint were lost during this process.The highlights of this set are the diversity in species included (noted above) and the paint job on the toys. Several pieces have metallic highlights; there are some cool ombre effects; and a ton of detail, particularly on the opabinia, which has a little dot on every one of its feet. Honestly the set looks hand-painted it’s so well done. (The dunk even matches my big fancy Schleich one, so it’s like a baby for it.)If you want a set that showcases a lot of creatures rarely seen in toy form, and does it well, don’t pass this one up. I wasn’t sure about getting something off-brand for this price, but I haven’t regretted getting this even once. The only problem was the weird residue and that washed off super easily.

*** IF YOU ARE BUYING FOR A TODDLER: search for a more age-appropriate toy!! *** My son (3) is obsessed with sharks and sea creatures. The sharks are really cool and great quality! But unfortunately the fins are too pointy/sharp for children his age. If you accidentally step on a shark, YOU WILL BLEED (grandma found out the hard way). We will keep the sharks for bath time only. Seller is great, no complaints. I just should’ve searched for a more age appropriate toy.

Study and most are a great size
Most of these are fairly good size, even palm size, except for the smallest 2 or 3. I permanently lost the smallest almost immediately, way too small, but the rest would be perfect for mid elementary school children, and delightfully strange looking. They remind me that you don’t have to look to Science Fiction for bizarre or speculation about what could be alive. These creatures actually used to live here on Earth.As usual use discretion, like past putting in mouth stage. Expect to see the Dunkleosteus attacking everything, even if it doesn’t actually fit with the others that are in the much older Cambrian period. On the other hand, the Dukleosteus would be just fine for any child with a shark figure collection.

This is a nicely detailed precambrian set and my children love them. They are made with a tougher material that lasts everyday wear and tear and almost every piece is larger in size, so they are not easily lost, which is always a bonus when you have little ones. I would recommend these for play toys or learning toys!
