Will fit all wrist small to large
I liked the style and easy way to show the date. Unlike many watches it is difficult to set the date. No need to go forward if the date is one day behind. Twist dial to go behind a day or forward. No month. I lose the day but not the monthBouht from Walmart on Amazon and Walmart did replace batteries of more pricey watches. Don’t have a local jeweler anymore but hope Walmart will replace the battery when it is time.I have not experienced the luminescent face yet but think it will be OK.

I requested this watch for Christmas. Today is February 21, and I have not taken it off since Christmas day except for showering. It does keep perfect time, which is why I can’t understand why people report accuracy as a problem. Love the indigo light as I had one of these types of Timex watches before. It looks great and works great. I have at least a dozen watches, many of them More expensive than this one. But it is still one of my favorites.

Nice field watch for $39, but there is a better alternative
I have a collection of a dozen watches, half of which are omegas, newer and ‘neovintage’.But, I’ve been wanting a field watch. My first watch when I was 9 y/o was a field (I think Hamilton) watch. My fiends had Timex Marlins with a polished steel case on metal bracelet, so I was at first disappointed with a sandblasted case darker field watch on a canvas strap. But, I quickly came to appreciate it.Since I will rarely wear this, I didn’t want to spend $500 for a Hamilton Khaki field. So, I looked for other options and came across this for only $39. I was a little concerned with a larger 40mm case, as true field watches had smaller cases, ideally 36mm, but 38mm would be acceptable. After I ordered this, I read some reviews that complained about it being loud, which also concerned me.First, let me say that it is not loud, you can hear it when you put up to your ear, but at anything more than a couple of inches from your ear you can’t hear it. I liked the band being a standard type rather than a NATO. The 40mm case is a bit larger than I would like, but not too bad. The gray numerals on the dark green dial have a little less contrast than I would like. I prefer the tan ‘fauxtina’ on other brands. But overall, it’s nice watch and the pictures give an accurate depiction of what it looks like in real life.The alternative. When I became concerned about it being noisy (as I said, not an issue) I looked for alternatives. This is when I came across the ‘Militado ML05 38mm VH31 Quartz’ here on Amazon for $54. I prefer the size and dial, and it comes with the Seiko VH31 mechaquartz movement. It has a much higher beat rate, so the second hand has a sweep much like a mechanical movement. You can get it Amazon, or you can find it directly from China on ali for only $37 free shipping. Were I do this over again, I would have bought that. I suggest you take a look on it here on Amazon, and decide which you prefer.But if you prefer the dial on this Timex, then you won’t be disappointed.

Great Watch!
This watch reminds me of my Air Force issued flight watch from my flying days. Inexpensive and very attractive. I did not like the original watch band so I purchased an olive green 20mm quick release watch band that I like much better. Appears to keep very accurate time, I have had several compliments on the style of this watch.

I Love This Watch
I saw this watch on Amazon, and it looked great. I gave it a shot and ordered one. So glad that I did. It looks super, and keeps good time. The second hand is red, making it easy to see. The Indiglo feature is nice to have, so I can view the time in darkness, such as in a movie theater. The knob is large, making it very easy to adjust the time and date. The watch face is very easy to see and read. I like simplicity in my watches- no useless bells and whistles. This watch fits all of my criteria perfectly.

It’s been over 20 years that I have owned a watch. I’m tired of having to locate my cell phone just to check the time. I decided its time for a watch! So, I started researching and researching, reviewing reviews and truly spent lots of time deciding on what the perfect watch to buy would be. I considered expensive, inexpensive, Swiss made, non Swiss made and after deciding to find a solar, best for the money watch I purchased this watch!I researched so many watches at every price point and style. The great reviews, style and price point brought me to TIMEX. I decided as this is my first watch in years so best keep it budget. I was considering the Indiglo Timex as I have always loved to cool glow but I ran across the Solar Timex. To be clear you loose the indiglo option will ALL Solar Timex watches so its a trade off, do you want indiglo or solar power and no battery changes? My research suggest I may get a crazy amount of life out of this watch with the solar power. Im not one to take a watch in to get a battery replaced and as I understand the more you use the indiglo the quicker I would need to change out a battery, Thats a no go for me so SOLAR TIMEX it is!The hands and numbers of this watch will glow after being in light but that glow fades quick, As far as the watch itself , I love the styling. My family loves the look. This watch is a blackish brass with a stainless back and a real lens so its a great watch for the money that I expect will last me years! My fist thought was I wanted a green band watch and may buy a green band one day but the color of this band looks better on me than in the pictures, the color is growing on me. The watch is somewhat larger that I expected on my medium size male wrist but I don’t think I would want a smaller watch after a few days of ownership. The date is small for my old eyes but thats not a deal breaker at all.I think this is a very classy sporty everyday looking non fancy watch and solar is the way to go! Who wants to take a watch to a shop to have the battery changed every few years? Im very happy my extensive research made me choose this watch. I’m as happy with this watch as I would be with one of those mega expensive import jobs as this thing looks and feels fantastic! I feel I got way more than I paid for buying this watch.When I was considering expensive I decided with the fact it’s been years that I have used a watch I better make sure a watch on my arm won’t bother me. I’m happy to report this is a very comfortable watch and I see zero need to spend more as this is the perfect price point of you get a good solar watch and looks good and feels good so I have no real need for anything more premium.With this watch I get a known name brand quartz movement thats solar and based on some reviews I hope to perhaps get 5-10 years or more life out of this watch and solar battery. I needed the stainless steel back and I wanted a leather band.I find I am actually proud of my new watch! Anyone remember the 1950’s saying… “ TIMEX, It takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking”

O relógio é um pouco menor do que eu esperava, mas ficou perfeito no pulso.A qualidade de construção é bem decente pro valor pago (400-500). Superou a expectativa.Muitos reclamam do mecanismo barulhento dos Timex, mas só consigo escutá-lo em local com absoluto silêncio. No dia-a-dia é imperceptível.A iluminação indiglo é bem legal e muito eficaz em locais escuros, mas é bem mais sutil do que algumas fotos mostram. Anexei uma foto que mostra exatamente como se vê “ao vivo”.Também possui pintura fosforescente nos ponteiros de horas e minutos.Um detalhe é a pulseira NATO, que é mais rígida do que eu esperava, e provavelmente será substituída.A única reclamação vai para a logística da AMAZON. Minha compra original foi em 31/12/24 e, após 3 atrasos sucessivos, e somente após registro de reclamação no Consumidor.gov, consegui finalmente receber meu relógio em 08/02/25.

Band that came with the watch was filthy.As another reviewed experienced the back cover popped out for no reason as well, had a glance at the insides of the watch, lots of white grime with some clear fingerprints. After putting the back cover back (with great difficulty) some of the white stuff fell down the dial…
