Prospects respect the watch’s enticing design and sturdiness. They discover it fairly priced, with a cushty strap and easy controls for setting time and alarms. The watch features nicely for them, together with the compass and Indiglo show.

Great wrist-watch at a wonderful price!
I originally purchased this wrist-watch at Wal-mart for about half the price currently listed; at the moment they seem to be having technical difficulties on their website. I love how comfortable and functional the watch is and most importantly it tells time accurately. I would really recommend this product to anyone and I find that the fact that it is made in the Phillipines is very interesting. I presume the popularity of 3-dimensional printing is going to make it easier to replace and create not only medical devices but also, parts on watches as well ad give designers the option and capability to re-create past models and it’ll be interesting to see how manufacturers will prevent intellectual property from being stolen iternationally. Basically, an excellent watch for the price, I’d buy this watch again and I did but I happened to find the one I had lost (return process was simple and easy). I was even able to replace the battery for $10 which was over half the cost of the purchase price but it was well worth it, if you’re on the fence concerning this purchase, I say go for it!

Pretty good watch no complaints. Pretty easy to set and I like the idea that it has three different time zones

    Worn one for years
I have worn a timex expedition for about 5 years now. They are a durable watch. Replaced the battery in my last one but now the start/spilt button has quit working so I bought this to replace it. The little compass is a joke but otherwise the watch band seems good.

Durable, readable, light, and easy to use
I bought one of these just over two years ago. I have the “black/gray fast wrap” variety, and have been beating it to death. I wear it to work where it gets banged around, snagged on things, and generally abused six days a week.It still works fine, the face has held up well with just small scratches, and the velcro still holds perfectly (a concern I had at first). The fabric that holds the watch to the band has loosened some over time, but considering how often I’m yanking my hand around and snagging it, the fact that it still shows no risk of tearing is commendable.A few days ago, a chunk of the plastic bezel that holds the face down broke off, so I ordered a replacement. It *still* works fine, but now I’m afraid water will seep in on rainy days (I work outside). So I’ll keep it as a backup watch until the battery dies. The thing just keeps going. It’s a perfect size, too. The face is big enough for the display to be nice and clear, even for my older eyes, yet the watch isn’t too big for someone like me who has a small wrist. The controls for setting things are dirt simple, something digital watches haven’t always gotten right. I love the “indiglo” backlight, and the button is nice and big and right on top (but never accidentally presses). At the risk of sounding too generous, this is just about as close as you can get to a perfect product.

Expedition watch is my #1 watch to use for many years
The tiny compass is worthless. Compass does not point true north and is so small you need a magnifying glass to see it. The watch band is a rubber type band that looks good but makes my wrist sweat. I took the watch band off and used an older 2 inch wide military strap type watch band that fits better and covers the watch so it does not get scratched. The Expedition watch is the same type of watch that I have used for many years. I don’t buy any other type of watch. It has two time zones, stop watch, and it lights up to see at night but turns off after a few seconds so you don’t waste the battery or the light. My old expedition watch that I still use and have had for many years has had the battery replaced only once. The light doesn’t work any more but it is still a reliable watch and everything else besides the light works. This is the reason I bought the same type of watch again so that the new one can be used as a dress watch and can take me to at least 2065. I do recommend the Expedition watch without the compass. The price is very budget friendly.

Great watch! (a bit ugly, but great features and very reliable)
Great watch. I’ve been so disappointed by other digital watches for men, but this one is really nice. The watch is a bit on the ugly side for my taste. It is not the most attractive in terms of color. But the functionality is just what I wanted, and the watch is sturdy and water resistant.Pros: Setting the watch time, alarms etc is easy and there are on-screen prompts that indicate which button does what when setting. The buttons do not make annoying beeps every time you press them (although you can turn on beeps if you want). The hourly chime is off by default. There are 3 different alarms and each one can be set individually to go off: (A) Daily, (B) on Weekdays only or (C) on Weekends only — a really great feature! There are two time zones. Many watches implement this in a very annoying way, but I like how this watch has done it–the second time zone is there and you can see it at a glance by pressing and holding a button, but it doesn’t keep showing the second time zone, and it doesn’t show the second time zone as a separate “mode”. I find it very confusing when other watches do that. Basically what I’m saying is that the second time zone is available, but it is subtle and clear–not confusing and “in-your-face” like on many other watches. The indiglo nightlight is very nice. The display is legible and well-laid out–not busy or obnoxious like many other watches. The watch is water resistant and sturdy. I’ve already had it thrown in the tub by my kids and it still works perfectly.

These are the only watches I ever buy! They are easy to set up and easy to read the face . I use the alarm function every day to wake up. I would recommend this watch to everyone. It has a 41mm face which is the perfect size for a man. The strap is comfortable but the compass is a useless feature but I didn’t buy it for a compass. That’s what GPS is for!! Lol

This was a birthday gift for my brother, who is in long-term care with a brain injury. He loved it – demanding that I put it on him the minute he saw what it was.He has always worn a watch from the Timex Expedition digital line – despite the brain injury, he was able to immediately tell me the time and date (which I set ahead of time), the moment he had it on. (It’s amazing what he can and can’t remember).Very happy with this purchase. Very nice looking watch – and SO many functions … I’d recommend!SIDE NOTE: The watch arrived loose in a box that looked used. The plastic “stand” you see watches displayed on was broken inside the box. I was afraid the watch would be damaged, but it seemed ok .

I use this watch to time my swimming. Bought exactly the same watch over 10 years ago for this purpose. Still working perfectly but the band has deteriorated. So I was surprised and pleased to find it’s exact replacement for I think less than what I paid for it 10 years ago.
