Good value for the cost.
I used this once with a person and once with a semi tire. I do not think it would be ideal for regular use or harsh conditions, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR -AND IT WILL WORK FOR AN EMERGENCY! It is very compressible and light. Inam happy with it.

Great tool
Used this to carry a gun shot victim from the 5th floor of an apartment building. Built and designed well.

Adding to your 10 essentials: Sturdy and portable! Great for Scouting!
If you’re like me and and want to be safe and secure while out on outdoor adventures you’ll want to have the Original Rescue Essentials Brand QuikLitter as part of your essentials. It’s heavy duty, ultra-portable, packs down well and works great for Scouting when teaching and practicing those First-aid essentials.

Decent portable stretcher
I’ve mostly used it for training or demos at my kids’ school. It’s durable and can definitely get any sized person from point A to point B. It’s super light and folds up easily. Not sure I would use it in real world scenarios unless it’s an emergency.

Fits a niche
I am on a wilderness SAR team and a disaster SAR team. As a back-up for use in an emergency, this fits that need. We placed a 200lb person in it during wilderness SAR training and hauled them around various terrain. The handles do wear on the hands so you will want gloves. The end handles make it easy to monitor the patient and support the head. It is obviously not as good as the super-expensive ones. And sure, I’d always prefer to have a rigid litter with a litter wheel in the backcountry. But I don’t always have those things available. So as something lightweight that can be carried in my pack on a backwoods mission it fits that niche. (It also could be used to make a shelter over a non-moveable patient, etc.) I can see where it would wear down quickly if dragged or used extensively in a disaster scenario. But if your other option is a poncho, blanket, door, etc. this is a step-up from that.

What a great piece of rescue equipment.
New to working at an Halloween amusement as part of the emergency medical staff, I was not liking the stretchers provided, So I ordered this for my kit. (I have something similar for SCUBA diving.) The second night of having this, we used it to haul a 300 lb+ sick person from the wooded park. The stretcher’s 8 handles saved us all as we had to travers up a wooded hill to a clearing, It held up like a champ and many of the staff were impressed. The park ordered a few to have in the first aid station and elsewhere.

Great sturdiness
I love having this in my vehicle to know I’m prepared. The item is very durable and the weight limit is great. It’s also compact for storage. I have a 150lbs senior great dane and that’s mainly why I got it but it will work for a human too if ever needed.
