really nice for daily use, makes shaving a breeze
overall i’m really satisfied with this head shaver. i haven’t tried any others like this before and always wondered about em. now that i’m at a point in my life where my hair has thinned out and stopped growing on top of my head, i’d rather just keep myself completely shaved bald than look like a franciscan monk…so i’ve been using a regular razor, just a two blade with dollar shave club, and it’s been such a hassle to shave that way and make sure i got all the spots around the back of my head… it’s time consuming and the feel of the blade scraping on my skull gets old fast. so i’ve been lazy with it, just shaving about once a week just bc i hate doing it.now with this little guy here i can shave my head in the shower in just a few minutes and be confident that it got my whole head cleanly. so now i’ve worked it into my daily shower routine. personally i prefer to lather my head each time with some barbasol. i tried it dry once and never again, just didn’t work for me, was a rough shave that way. i tried it with just water and it worked better but it was still rough to slide across my scalp, wasn’t a smooth grip. lathering up my head first produces a nice smooth grip each time.i like that it came with so many attachments too. and a neat bonus is the precision popup razor for detail if you need it. but honestly i don’t really use those things (the nose trimmer is awkward to use bc it’s like holding a computer mouse up to your face, not really a well shaped device for that purpose). it’s nice to have them available though.worth noting there are some offbrand replacement shaver heads for this available which are essentially identical and work just fine.oh, also the battery life has been really nice, lasts over a week on a single charge (that’s being used only a few minutes a day on my part). i’ve just started a habit though of charging it each weekend. i don’t really feel like exhausting it completely just to see what the battery life is. i don’t really care at this point, i love this thing.

Coming from a pitbull shaver, I choose this
Works just as good but includes more attachments than my previous pitbull shaver that only lasted 18 months. So far I’ve been very happy with the closeness that it shaves giving a nice smooth feel. I use the exfoliation piece on my face daily. The battery life seems to be on par with my pitbull, a few months worth of use every other day. If i getvlazy and go 3 or 4 days, it still cuts through just the same. The pitbull would struggle even with new blades. I’m not fond of how I have told it like a baseball in my hand, but im getting used to it. Overall quality for price, I fully recommend this over the pitbull shaver.

Overall, this is the best head shaver out of the 3 I have tried so far. I would give it a 3.5 if I could but, since I have more likes than dislikes, I am rounding up instead of down. My head feels more smooth than it actually looks after shaving. I would say I appear to have shaved just recently. I can say that this is the least irritating shave by far, which may account for why it’s not the smoothest shave. I have been shaving everyday (except for 2 random days) for the last couple of weeks. Last night is the first time I had to charge it since I gave it the initial charge per instructions. Battery life is superior to the others I have tried. The only time my shave was irritating was while I was in the shower. A wet shave is not for me with this product. Cleaning the blades was the easiest compared to the others I tried. That was pleasantly surprising. I love the accessories it comes with as well. It would have been nice if you didn’t have to order the carrying case separately but, no points taken away for that. There is a concern about it being designed for a brick charger that outputs no more than 5V. Fortunately, I had an old brick that met that criteria. I like to maintain the longevity of the batteries for my electronic devices.I have time to return this still so, I am going to try another product and see how that goes. I will update this if I decide to return it. If I decide to keep this. While I am disappointed I am not getting a smooth shave and have to shave everyday with it, I love everything else about it.UPDATE: I am returning this after all. I tried two more head shavers and have found one that works better for me than this one. I still would not discourage anyone from trying this one, as others clearly like this one a lot. I am leaving my rating unchanged, though. I still feel this is am excellent product overall. It’s just not for me.
