It only works on when submerged!
Shark just would not work. After some time troubleshooting, we found that it turns on when the fan is fully submerged in water. Someone should print that on a sticker on the box to let others know. My kid will be happy for Christmas!

Kiddo Loved This
Our kiddo is so impressed with this. It activates once in the water. Took us a minute to figure that out. He proudly told me it dives, it surfaces, and it jumps. I loved watching how excited he was after playing with this shark. Great fun for a 9-year-old.

Was a Christmas present for a three year old, he was super excited, loved the look and the movement of the shark, but after charging overnight and replacing batteries in the remote, it never even turned on for him or did anything.

Works great
This works great and is fairly durable. You may run into a fun or two that pop off but they are easy to put back on and I have only had them come of when being handled. My son who is almost 4 enjoys playing with it and it is easy to control. I will say I recommend a large body of water to use this in like a pool, pond, or lake as using it in the bath tub for example works but this shark is a little big for a tub and has issues operating smoothly (gets turned on its side and can’t go straight without adjusting position manually) when it runs into obstructions.

Do NOT hand your child the remote while they are in the tub.
Seems durable. Got here fast. Kids absolutely love it. Don’t let anyone use the remote while they are in the water because it can be dropped and this will ruin the remote and it won’t work anymore. The shark is huge too! It seems to be made well but the remote control is cheaply made. I’ll still give this 5 stars though. It’s worth it! Oh and the shark plugs into a USB port and charges, and the remote will take either a couple AA or AAA batteries.

I like to start Christmas shopping early so I ordered this back in October ’24 and didn’t present it to my kid until Christmas day. Well I plugged it in to get the initial charge and the red light came on to show its charging. Waited a few hours and came in to test it off course with my son right behind me all excited. Well NOTHING happened!! Not even a little bit of life out of this shark. And since I ordered it back in October my return window as passed. To say I’m completely disappointed is an understatement. Only thing i can say good about it – it came with batteries for the remote. BUY SOMETHING ELSE
