I tried various products in the course of a few decades. Let’s just say- I am glad the era of tanning beds is in the past. Anyway- this one has come so close to being truly gradual but still within hours of seeing a result. I found that one has to moisturize with their regular lotion first and then apply this. Do your best to use even strokes to spread the lotion evenly. I use this mostly in the face and chest are. I haven’t tried the body as I never really had trouble with tanning the body. Over the course of years and killing my skin with proactive and other anti acne treatments no natural tan stays on me long enough. When I apply this lotion- no kidding- I always get absolutely random compliments from men and women. It goes like you look great, your skin is flawless and you have a glow. I am no fool and I know when it’s not a sideways comment. These were genuine and some from closest friends and family. Each time I know precisely what happened- I noted having used this unless tanning cream. Those who knock it off because they were overzealous spreading it out or overworked the skin may knock it off, but before you do, try various applications. The good part about it- it’s forgiving- it comes off naturally in the course of 3-4 days. Even if you screwed it up tremendously- you can cover it up with a foundation or do a gentle exfoliation. Anyway, I am rarely into fake stuff- I prefer real tan but if I had to take off the hat to one product it’s this one.

Easy and Effective
The reviews are correct, this stuff works really well! As you can see by the one photo, I am normally pretty pale in the winter, and this gives me that nice, sun-kissed glow without looking orange.I was a little nervous because I had never used a self tanner before, but this was easy to apply, did not leave streaks, and does not seem to rub off on clothing. It comes out white then over the course of the next 8 hours your skin starts to darken. I got the the lighter of the two: fair – medium color, and it worked great for me.Overall, I am very happy with this product and glad I decided to go with this over an expensive tanning salon.

I usually don’t write reviews but felt I had to on this product!! It’s amazing my daughter and myself both use it and we both have different skin tones. Neither of us turn orange and it gives both of us that sun kissed look with out the oompaloompa orange 😄 love this product

Not the greatest
It looks kind of orange after putting on. Goes on thick, but let it dry into the skin and its ok, don’t keep rubbing it. My legs were the ones that looked the best, and I did it for an evening out, so I looked like tan legs, not too orange. However, after a couple days, my forearms, the insides of my arms looked like crackled skin. Its only been on a few days and this is what happens. I’ll have to see if I continue to put it on every other day if this will happen or not. Stains the hands pretty quickly, so wear gloves during application. I read that it looks better if you reapply daily or every other day for coloring, which I did find to be true the first couple days. But 2 days later after not applying is when the crackling and separation began. This was my first time trying, so I’ll give it a little more time and see if I only do one application on the arms if there is still crackling or not. I have my hopes up as I did like the look of my legs. I’ll have to come back with a photo of them. The attached photos are my forearms.

So I just finished my first tube of this stuff. Definitely the best I’ve used in a long time.The good:- Solid colour- Long as applied properly, very little streaking. Back of hands are pretty difficult though. Doesn’t matter how little I put, I always get some buildup.The bad:- Although colour is good, it doesn’t last long. I’d say a max of two days before it’s more or less noticeably faded. Starts to fade in as little as one shower.- You have to use a lot. As I’ve seen in other reviews, you do need a lot of the stuff per application.- Price. The price is pretty steep. Looking at my orders, it took me three weeks to go through this and I wasn’t even using it on my legs. You can go through really quick. At $45 per order, this could easily cost you $600+ a year.I could see myself ordering again, but probably not on a regular basis due to price/speed you go through it.Edit: I was contacted by their customer support and given a refund. Great customer service. I bumped up my review from 3 to 4 stars. They did not ask me to do this, I just appreciate the generous refund!

I’ve used both the lotion and mousse (foam) from the same company and find the lotion takes a lot longer and more product to develop. I don’t find the lotion is as concentrated and the tan doesn’t last long (when it finally develops, even when applied on dry, clean skin). I also notice it takes longer for me to rub in the lotion compared to the mousse and the smell is a bit stronger and lingersPros: the lotion comes with a lot of product and feel moisturizing. Doesn’t stain as muchI’ll be switching back to the mousse! Overall, I like this company but just wanted to compare the two for you all!
