It doesn’t stay latched on because deadweight is heavier than the Velcro cannot handle. My mom is 160 lbs and paralyzed on her left side so I’d need to latch it over her right arm but it doesn’t reach. And the Velcro needs to be stronger. I’ll try an xL when I get a little more cash.

Works great to help patients get up from sitting to standing, it’s easy to slide under someone and the foam handles make it comfortable to grip.the only downsides – if you’re by yourself, it would be very difficult to use for bariatric patients as the handles are too short, you could do it with two people though. The belt to clip it on is also way too long but, you don’t have to use it and it could be trimmed shorter if you so desired.All around an above average product but not quite perfect.
