Shorter than what I thought but over all it was sturdy

Enormous, but works great for commode to wheelchair.
My mom is a paraplegic and transfers exclusively by slide board. I had difficulty finding one long enough to straddle the commode and the wheelchair without tipping into the hole and causing a balance problem. Mom’s power chair has a rojo cushion, and she needs a firm surface in order to get enough height to move her bottom from one place to another. So I needed a board that would go completely across the rojo cushion and onto the commode. This slide board works great.It doesn’t need to be as wide as it is, or heavy, but the length is ideal for my needs. It’s probably made like this for very heavy people, which my mom is not. Nevertheless it’s a priceless tool.
