Reliable and long lasting
Bought this lighter in Feb 2022 and it lasted until Jan 2025, nearly 3 years. It was used primarily to light a gas burner on our kitchen stove and through its life got wet with water and cooking oil, wiped off, and worked fine. I had to charge it maybe 2x per year, but i don’t think that often for our use. Highly recommend. Just got a replacement in Jan 2025.

I purchased this lighter a while back, maybe even a year ago. I only needed to light a few candles, so I had not used it that much …… but then I decided I would burn all of my white sage and not use it anymore (I am trying to be more simple and minimalistic). So, I was outside, trying to have a little relaxing hypnotic sage burn session, and right away the lighter conked out. I recharged it and it held like half a charge at that point. I realized that the lighter was a dud and would not hold a charge. So, I contacted the company, and as I had wanted, they didn’t “ding” me for not performing the role of product tester when I first got this lighter. I only used it as I normally would, which was lightly, and didn’t test it out to see whether it was in proper working order or not. I would have had to teach myself how to be such a product tester, too, being that I was not familiar with these lighters. I did none of that, and just was the buyer/consumer as I am. The company didn’t “ding” me for only being the buyer/consumer, and they sent me a new, working lighter. And I can tell immediately, now, that it works much better than the first one. It has a stronger electric or plasma arch, the way it should be. I’m so happy now!!! The company was really easy to work with, which I think is fair, since I paid for a working lighter and never got it, so at this point they should make things as easy on me as possible. Anyway, eventhough I originally got a dud, the company took care of the issue, so now I can be a happy customer and let others know that the company backs up their products. Order with confidence, and I highly recommend!!!

Wouldn’t hold charge
I was excited when I bought this, due to the fact that I wouldn’t have to buy any more lighters. It worked great in the lighting department. It has a nice sleek look and feel, and is very easy to use.The problem: After months for using it maybe 4 times a week, it wouldn’t hold its charge. It has 4 lights to show that it is fully charged. Now after I charge it, and use it, within a day the charge drops down to one!The answer: I contacted SUPRUS regarding the problem, and they couldn’t have been more nicer! They replied to my email quickly, and took care of the problem by sending me a new lighter FREE OF CHARGE! A Big THANK YOU to the SUPRUS company for making this customer very happy with your customer service! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

A USB lighter that actually works well!
I’ve had several different brands and models of USB lighters, but this is my favorite so far. So many of them either have a wildly short battery life or seem like they have some kind of gimmick at the expense of ease of use. This one, thankfully, just simply works. My only quibble is that I wish it had a bendable extension at the end to make it easier to light more awkwardly located candles, but given the bad luck I’ve had with so many of these I’ll deal with that.

Update: company contacted me and gave advice on the lighter and ended up promptly replacing it. Great! BE SURE TO USE A SLOW CHARGER. FAST CHARGING DOES NOT WORK.I liked this rechargeable lighter until it stopped charging and working after a couple of months minimal usage.

Quality rechargeable Lighter
This is the second or third brand I’ve owned for the rechargeable lighter. I have been very impressed with the battery life as well as the “safety” mechanism that would prevent a child from accidentally using and/or hurting themselves with this product. Seems more durable than previous ones I have owned.
