Cats love these things!
Very entertaining for both cats and people! We’ve put these on the list of daily activities for our two cats. They look forward to their evening hunt and treats. I put a few crunchy treats in each mouse (we have four mice), hide them in varying but accessible locations, and they immediately go on the hunt for them. If I forget to do “mouse time” they are quick to remind me. The slides are not intended for cats to open but rather to adjust the size of the hole based on the size of the treat inside. Can’t make it too easy for them to get the snack. Also great fun for us to watch them hunt. Once they find a mouse the cat rolls it, bats it, tosses it — whatever it takes to get the treats out. Cats are way smart and need challenges to stay sharp!

Offers enrichment along with treats, medication and a chance to reason
I saw this on “The Adventures of Todd” on YouTube. He’s a Tuxedo cat the talks with buttons. Super cool to see. Todd has to take medicine, so his Dad puts it in this Mousie, and Todd has himself some entertainment while getting what he thinks are treats! My 17 year old girl needs meds so I got her one of these and she has a great deal of enjoyment getting her meds.

My cat really enjoys playing with this.
The plastic shell is quite durable and easy to get treats into. The cloth case is not that sturdy. The cord that pulls the case closed and is the tail, my cat, was able to pull that completely out. Without the cord the plastic shell does not stay in the case making it difficult for my cat to get ahold of and get the treats out. I was able to string through another cord so my kitty is still enjoying this toy. I do recommend, just tie off the cord or something before your cat pulls it out.

Not attractive to cats & poorly made
If you genuinely are trying to get your cats more enrichment I would not choose this brand. The whole toy is hard plastic & it’s a little large which a lot of cats don’t seem to be attracted to. It’s just covered with a thin bit of fabric. The sliders are a little too hard for the cats to open up & if they did they would do the kicking thing but the toy would have to be positioned on the correct side for them to kick open. When I opened one & slid the door thing it broke immediately as well, telling me that these are also cheaply/poorly made. Definitely opt for a different toy, neither of my cats were into these & I will be returning them as it was a waste of my money. One of my cats has a real issue with getting bored & he lacks enrichment in the winter since we can’t take him on as many walks so I got these for him mostly. I got a bunch of other enrichment stuff & these were his least favorite.

Great overall but take safety precautions
Bought this to slow down our fast eater/over fed cat and provide some entertainment (for the cat and us)It took time for the cat to warm up and know what to expect from this toy. Hunger is the motivator here.***Please take the extra precaution to remove the elastic string closure at the back of the mouse. The cat almost swallowed it. Since there was little resistance, I was able to pull the elastic out of his throat. It’s a needless piece for the toy to function so just remove it for safety sake. We continue to use the toy/feeder without it, and it otherwise works well. Would be a 5 star if not for the hazard.

Mornings are so much more peaceful!
It does take some time to convert the cats to using the mice rather than a food bowl. The process can’t be rushed. At first I thought the cats weren’t going to go for it, but eventually they got it. It definitely works best starting with the trainer mouse, and once the cat is using the trainer successfully, to switch to the real mouse feeder. I started with the opening all the way open, and gradually started closing the opening more and more until it was the narrowest it could go and still let food out. The cats have a blast and are less destructive.Originally, I wanted to try out feeder mice because my cats were yowling hours before I needed to get up in the morning. It was painful. Now they don’t yowl. If I try to sleep late, they might quietly meow or nudge me, or jump over me – but it is so much more manageable than before. I put a couple mice out when I go to bed & then more in the morning. I don’t hide the mice – they end up all over the place anyways.Personally I’d remove the ties from the design – one of my cats tries to eat them. They are easy enough to remove though.

Neat concept, could be better quality
The concept of this small feeder toy is great! I like the removable cloth casing for easier cleaning and refills, and it’s very cute. However, when it arrived the package was not intact– the clear plastic cover had not been properly glued onto the cardboard backing. In addition, when I tried to open the treat compartment, the “switch” broke off and into pieces. I tried for 20 minutes to fix it, but there was no way to reassemble the pieces without further damaging them, as there is no way to reassemble them other than attempting to force the pieces back into place.

My fur kids love it
I started with just a bit of their dry food and they seem to think it’s filled with treats. 😀 i do sometimes put treats in along with the kibble. The 4 click adjustable opening makes filling it easy and makes them emptying it a little trickier. They carry it around, so it’s not too heavy. I try to have at least one kind of enrichment for them while I’m at work. They seem to like this one because it’s always empty and never where i left it.

We’ve had t two of these for several months now. They still look brand new after nightly use!

Our 5-month Ragdoll kitten loves it. After we showed him treats can fall from it, he found his own way, how to get treats: turns it with his nose (whether on YouTube we saw cats use their paws for that). Our kitten actively uses it around a month. Before that, he was still distracted or scared with the sound that this toy (plastic part) and a similar toy from other brand (completely plastic) make on hard floors. Will buy for my mom’s cat, and my friend’s cat! It’d be better called “food Mousey”, as I saw being called on “Billy speaks” channel, it’d be much easier to find searching
