Purchased these as a replacement for some JBL trashj that just sucks. like not even worth me asking for a return neve charge or slow to charge just junk and no life.My previous earbuds were razer hammerheads and i LOVED LOVED LOVED THEM, but i wanted somthing a little less detrimental to replace even thought i had those earbuds forever.I have had anker products mostly chargers and hte like forever, so i thought what the hell all the reviews seems cool – even looed at the p40i – these won out.First, I got them same day fullfilling the whole intant gratification part.out of the box the carging cradle is awesome. no bigger to me than say airpods cradle. if you pants you paint on, these will not fit in yortu pocket, but say a day pack with your charger should be perfect.sound is DYNAMIC – some folks will argue that the sound is flat. these are likely the sqame folks that couldnt tell if a calrinet solo in an orhcestra is playing in front of a steroe mic set or not. dont listen to them at this price point these sound as good as or better than my Sennheiser gsa 670 full headphones.The soundcore app is just good. started it up AFTER pairing my earbuds. it found them then uploaded a firmware update to them. NICEThe EQ and other features make these beaties REALLY shine, the all warns if youre getting into those dangerous listening areas and the talkthough is about as good as a set of earphones at a gun range maybe a little better. youre likley not going to be having a conversation at disneyland with them on, but youll be ok talking to the customer service rep as the gas station.as far as time playing goes. i got them charged to solid green and started with binaural beats. – A-mazing sound – Ran the app for about three hours as i fell asleep still goign stron after that. and then listenend to some more agressive sounding music to test more – again bar none great sound, its rare to actually find an amazon price drop that i actualy say wow im glad i got this. im saying now wow i really need to order more. i have xtrange ears and i fell asleep with thesse on and i toss… no issues.The cradle ALSO DOUBLES AS A PHONE STAND WHAT??!?!?!? one of the coolest things i didnt know i needed.All in all for the price even at the original absolutely worth it. can i wear em in the shower? Anker Soundcore P30i ReviewPurchased the Soundcore P30i from Amazon through AnkerDirect as it was a reasonable priced noise-cancelling earbud from a reputable manufacturer. I didn’t want to buy something very expensive as items with built in rechargeable batteries have a limited life anyway and this was priced within my comfort range. The earbuds arrived on time and I was quite satisfied with the sound, indeed quite good for the price point, and the iPhone app let me customize the sound to my liking.After using it for a couple of months, however, I found that the left earbud was intermittently cutting out. What was worse was that I found that the earbuds wouldn’t reliably shut off when they were placed back in the charging case. I noticed this after I missed a couple of phone calls as it rang at the earbuds, which were inside the case. I found out only after I noticed the phone vibrating and iPhone control panel was still showing the Bluetooth connection to the earbud.I used the Soundcore app to send a message to Anker and was pleasantly surprised to get an email response within an hour. It was the typical canned message indicating I should clean the contacts and so on, which I had already checked so I responded accordingly. I got a response to my email within a day saying that they were sorry for any confusion caused by the AI-generated message and made further suggestions. I responded again saying that I had checked everything and that I had also updated to the latest firmware which was made available that day but that I would be traveling out of the country in about ten days so if this couldn’t be resolved by then, I would just have to buy something else for the trip.This is when the technical support team went ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS and said that they would like to get the earbuds back so the technical team could check on the device but since I was on a time constraint they would make an exception and ship me a replacement right away and I should return my unit when I received the replacement.SUMMARY:I am still waiting for the replacement unit but I have to say that I am impressed with the outstanding customer service so even if I do not get the replacement unit before I leave on my trip I have no complaints.I have made arrangements to return the earbuds as required as they were so nice as to advance ship the replacement, which is on its way as per tracking updates.I must also add here that after I upgraded the firmware to the latest version I have NOT had the the shutoff problems with the earbuds (though I still do intermittent cutoff problems) so they may well have fixed the issue with the firmware update.ANKER TECH SUPPORT ROCKS!!! Wish I could give more stars!!

I ordered these buds to replace a set of Monster Achieve 300 Airlinks that stopped working. I did a fair bit of research on a few different models and decided to give these a try because of the options included with them.I have been using them for 2 weeks now mostly to listen to podcasts and audio books with some music sprinkled in there for good measure.When I first opened the package and seamlessly paired them to my Pixel 7 phone they had a charge of 80% and as of the time of this review, I still haven’t plugged in the case to recharge them, mind you, I mostly use 1 bud at time and usually use them for at least 5 hours per day so the battery life is extraordinary.The design is on par for the price of the buds. They fit quite well and I have no fatigue in either ear from wearing them for as long as I do. They do not seal as well as the Monster buds but I’ve only tried the medium ear tips and will try the other ones to see if they get better.The first thing I did after I paired them was to download the app to change the touch settings to match my old ones and to try the different equalizer settings. I ended up just staying with the default one because it sounded the most balanced. If you are okay with the default touch settings and sound, you probably don’t need the app.The sound is rich and the base is just deep enough and not overpowering like the Monster buds used to be. I even tried the Bass Booster and ended up liking the default settings better.With only one bud in, the sound is about half as loud as with both buds in but I think that’s to be expected.The case with the phone holder is a great idea and it works very well.Overall, I am very happy with these and I look forward to using them for a while. If you happen to buy them on sale, like I did, they are even more of a pleasant surprise.
