perfect boots
i love these boots. Loooooove them! as a short plus size gal its hard to find good boots. these fit well both in the width and the calf with room to spare. not too tall. for a heel, very comfortable. really the perfect little goth-western boot with the contrast stitching and the cuban heel. and cant beat the price. i just hope they hold up, being fake leather. not an everyday boot, due to material but wish they were. i didnt find them hard to get into even with fat feet and ankle edema

Although I usually wear sneakers (Asics running shoes) as my daily shoes, I was looking for an ankle boot for dressier occasions. These boots are so cute, and the extra stitching on the top of the boot really adds to them being dressy.I ordered the black PU boots in my usual size 7 and am so glad I didn’t order size 6.5 as suggested. Since they don’t have a zipper to facilitate getting them on, I need to push my feet into them to get them on. Although the top of the boot is plenty wide, I had a hard time getting my feet into these boots because I have a high instep. To be honest, at first, I wasn’t sure I could get them on, and, admittedly, it was a bit painful to get them on all the way. I was wearing thin socks, and likely would not have been able to get these boots on with thicker socks. I did notice that one boot was easier to get on than the other. Once I got them on, they were very comfortable, and wouldn’t have a problem wearing them for an extended period.As you can see from the pictures, there is a lot of room at the ankle. For this picture, I was wearing boot leg jeans which are wider at the bottom. For straight leg pants, I suggest wearing these boots with the pant legs tucked in. Otherwise, you will see the top of the boot under the pant legs. I believe these boots would also be super cute with shorter pants, shorts, or skirts since the stitching on the upper boot is very attractive.Since most boots require a break-in period, I am hoping they will be easier, and less painful, to get on over time. If you have a high instep, as I do, this may be a consideration for you. Although I haven’t had these boots for very long, I can’t attest to wear and longevity, but I don’t think the quality can be beat for this price. So, I have decided to keep them.UPDATE 02/22/24:Today I got the pair of Taupe PU boots, and they are much easier to get on, and are also comfortable with thinner wool blend socks. These are keepers also. The black PU boots look and feel more like a slick leather whereas the taupe PU boots have the feel of a softer leather with no shine. Considering the price, these boots are very cute and the stitching give them character. I would definitely recommend trying these boots.UPDATE 03/02/24:I ordered a few different boots of this type and decided to return both of these pairs. Although they are very cute, as compared to other pairs I tried, these are too hard to get on. In addition, the width of these boots at the top would be more conducive to tucking pants inside the boots or wearing them with skirts or shorts. Since I plan to wear them under my pant legs, I don’t want the top of the boots to protrude through my pant legs.I hope this review was helpful for you, I will update this review if my opinion changes.

Absolutely Fabulous!
These boots are the “Jamm”I have a wide foot and larger legs, and was worried about the boots being tight. NO WORRIES NECESSARY ! They fit true to size, very comfortable to wear. I danced all night in these boots! And….They looked good on my feet. I receive compliments and purchasing questions whenever I wear them. Great job Amazon on the wide fit !!!

Hard soles, consider extra padding
Super cute but not meant for staying on your feet or walking a lot. Caused alotta discomfort and pain walking around downtown and standing to see a show. If your feet are sensitive to hard shoes, consider insoles and thick socks with these. But get alotta compliments on how cute they are. No pain no gain?

I have spendy western boots but i needed some ankle heeled booties and i was not ready to commit to boots for 3-4 hundred. These were cheap and i am very pleasantly surprised! Super cute, not uncomfortable, and true to size. If you are on the fence order a half size up or wide. They are arch friendly! This is a great buy even if you get one season out of them.

So these are super cute if you’re going to like a little western event, and you want something reasonably priced or to like swap out for like a church look.But if you’re looking to like actually like do line dancing, and these choose something else, the toes pinched me after a while.

I have feet problems, a bunion and raised toes.I ordered a 8.5 Wide. They looked narrow & I didn’t think they would work, but I tried them on & it fit perfectly. The leather is soft so it doesn’t rub. 8.5 is my reg size so I didn’t go larger & it was fine. Very cute!
