Ranked 4 out of 4 <$20 wired earbuds tested (but decent value for price) I compared four low-cost (under $20) wired in-ear earbud sets:JBL Endurance Run 2House of Marley Smile JamaicaSkullcandy JibLodos OmnitoneI listened to pieces from four contrasting genres that I enjoy, represented by:Heart "Magic Man" (rock)EBTG "Wrong" (techno)Coltrane & Hartman "My one and only love" (jazz)Ginastera "Estancia Suite: Danza Final - Malambo" (classical orchestral)On each of these pieces, I rated each earbud (1-10) separately for clarity of treble, depth of bass, richness of middle, and overall "fullness" of the sound spectrum. I’ve used these exact headphones for so many years. Nothing compares. Noise cancellation is incredible. The volume and clarity will give you such terrible tinnitus you’ll have to read subtitles for the rest of your life. I will never use anything else. The only way I’ll switch is if they stop making them.

Exceptional sound for a steal
I have switched from listening to my speakers and subwoofer, to earbuds. And I have been searching for a replacement for my Panasonic RP-HJE120-K wired earbuds. I find their sound is muffled. The Skullcandy brand offers several excellent sounding models. I think any would be better than the Panasonic’s. I have both the Ink’d and JIB models. The highs in the JIB are silky smooth; the bass is very strong and well defined. Bass is not overly booming, but very strong. The shape of the earbuds forms an excellent seal around my ears. So the overall experience is superior. I also tried the Sephia SP3060 which were fine, but the Skullcandy is a more direct sound. I do not use the mic but it is there for those that want it. The cord is good quality and does not feel cheap. Overall, an excellent set of earbuds for anyone. I plan on buying more of these little gems. Highly recommended by a musician and audiophile. They also offer 3 or 5 packs for the whole family. Thank you Skullcandy and Amazon !

If you want inexpensive wired ear buds, these are the best
I have gone through many of these (my son grabs them and they disappear) and until dedicating myself to wireless ear buds, I was prepared to keep buying them. The sound is great, they are so inexpensive, you can easily pop them into your phone and they come with different fits for the ears. I highly recommend them. If my son would have stopped taking them, I am sure I would have kept them for a long time. Buy a pair. With the price, you have nothing to lose.

Cheap for a reason
I used these for about 3 weeks, then quickly replaced them with a far better choice. Overall cheap design, thin wires that transfer sound when touched or moved, no bass frequency whatsoever. I could go on. Do yourself a favor and don’t purchase these.
