Great so far
Will prob never know how much they helped, but the evidence says these help reduce scarring so I’m in! Sticks well, but not too well (ie not painful to remove). I will say the ones on my laparoscopic sites work well (and prevent clothing from rubbing). I tried one on a scar on my kneecap as it is come off twice so maybe not good for bony moving areas.

Band Aid Like Scar Treatment
I purchase these Silicone Scar Sheets that my OT recommended. They are extremely sticky and you can select the size with the perforated line. They can be re-used for several weeks which is nice and saved money. I like that they stick to your scar to help flatten and heal the scar. I like them so much I bought a second box.

Amazing
I was skeptical but my surgeon recommended this product. Went it for my post op check up and he was amazed at how well the scar was healing. Not sure if it was me generally or this product but highly recommend. Can’t hurt!!

Product as described, but the flesh colored option is better
This product seems to be as described, and working as advertised. I find the brown (flesh-colored) option is more elastic and sticks to the skin a little better. This is the only reason I’m giving this product a 4-star rating.

Leaves a residue on skin
I have switched to this product from another one because it was less expensive per foot. On first application, I noticed that the adhesive was stronger and more difficult to remove from the backing than the previous brand (also made in China, but twice as expensive) and that some adhesive gel would separate and stick to my finger. This was slightly annoying, but it could be cleaned off.After leaving it on for 24 hours, I found that this product is really sticky, leaving bits of the adhesive on my skin, especially around the edges. It also sticks to the skin very strongly, making it difficult to remove. I would especially caution against using it if you have a sensitive skin for this reason.I am going back to the other product, as it was much easier to handle and there were no issues with the adhesive. As for the effectiveness in reducing scars, I don’t know and cannot comment.
