Waterproof as far as I can tell
Had been using twin sheets to protect the couch because it’s just easier than cleaning the couch with dogs. It has been holding up really well to the dogs running and playing on it. Hasn’t ripped, seems to be pretty strong. The puppy keeps biting at it as she’s playing and the little shark teeth haven’t ripped it. Super soft and comfy. Feels like a soft fleece blanket but doesn’t feel like it gets too hot. Have not had it leak anything through it- as long as you don’t let something sit on it a long time I think it would be waterproof. Has seemed to protect the couch cushions well with the dogs playing on it. Elastic has held up really well too, doesn’t slide off and stays put on the couch. Definitely worth the money and would get a backup set too if they came in more sizes and colors.

Sleek looking and actually waterproof
I was a little skeptical since the last couch cover I had was “waterproof” but liquid was still able to seep through (not a lot but still). We just recently bought a small e L shaped couch and we did scotchguard it, but with 3 children (one being a toddler) and a dog we wanted some extra protection. I stumbled on these and said why not and bought them. I will say if you have a couch with weird cover pieces on some on the cushions it may be a little bit of a tight fit but surprisingly the fabric stretches quit a bit. I like that the top is almost like a velvet material but underneath is that waterproof plastic material but doesn’t make the cover any less comfortable or have that crunching sort of noise like a waterproof bed sheet. In my case vacuuming it or lint rollers don’t work BUT a damp towel works best to remove pet hair and any food spills which lift easily because of the fabric. I’ve had these for two weeks now so I wanted to wait to give a real review but I’d give these a 10/10 in my experience. Also like the selection of color choices and couch sizes.

Sizing may be interesting
I got these as a way to help protect my couch from the incidents of having an elderly pet struggling with incontinence. I’ll update later on their waterproof ability once the doggo has given it a test run.Straight out of the bag I can say that the perks are that the color is close enough a match to make me happy and the fabric is buttery soft with a stretchy rubbery backing.What I can tell at this moment are the negatives is that the fabric is almost velvet like and is already collecting the dog hair like the sherif of Nottingham collects taxes. The regular seat cushion covers fit **Perfectly** with just enough stretch to fit snuggly around each corner. The chaise cover, however, is a different story. It is so oversized that I could almost fit two cushions in it. Even trying to pull as much to the center of the underside, it still looks like I’m trying to put a king sized fitted sheet on a full sized bed.As long as the waterproofing does its job, I will be satisfied with the product. I just want to be able to accommodate my aging boy for as long as he has left and still be able to save my couch for the future.**UPDATE**These are quite waterproof…so waterproof that liquids would run off and between the cushions. I put a doggie pee pad underneath the cushion gap and that fixed the problem. When washed, these covers hold on to the water. I was afraid to dry them with any heat so I did hang dry and the water would pool in the elastic bunched pocket because of the waterproof backing on the fabric.

Perfect protection from a 4 and 2 year old
These cushions were perfect for our accent chairs. The fabric is soft but not feminine, it is warm but doesn’t make you over heat. Washing was a breeze.

Yes! These one’s ARE waterproof!
I board dogs and have a potty training child. These are the first covers I’ve bought that actually have the protective backing to be waterproof and still reasonably priced. No dog smell or kid pee has gotten through! They’ve also held up so much better than the other ones that had a hole the same day. These ones have made it through a week and a wash so far and are still intact.The color is a bit more copper than chocolate/brown, but they stretch and cover great even with the protective backing. So, it doesn’t bother me since it actually protects and I just the covers off for company since they are so easybto put on and remove. They’ve been saved to my rebuy and recommend list!

Nice product
The covers fit over the square cushions very well and seem to stay put. The chaise cover is basically shapeless though so it doesn’t really give a seamless look at all.My main con is the “brown” is more of a deep maroon. I’d also tried the light brown, which was equally tinted with almost a rose gold.

Best thing ever for your couch cushions if you have dogs.
These have saved my couch cushions from my doodles. They stay on my couch and if their paws are wet or they decide to chuck on my couch, easy cleanup. Throw them into the washer and use warm water. Easy to dry o low in the dryer. Hasn’t faded in color. Would highly recommend for dog owners to keep older couches nice. My Lazy boy is 20 yrs old and these have helped.

NOT WATERPROOF!
I always give a product the benefit of the doubt, so I was aware of some reviewers said this was not waterproof. I unfortunately have to agree with them 100%. This product might stop very small amounts of liquid but that’s it. I have cat that is having some issues with bladder control and she has occasional accidents. I already have a thick sofa cover, so I figured these would help enough even if they weren’t completely waterproof. I stand corrected. Not only did the urine go through my sofa cover, but also the waterproof pad. Needless to say I am returning. The pic shows after I went to clean the cover and the liquid went straight through.Also, on a side note…these were supposed to be larger than my cushions by about 5 inches on one side and I struggled to get them on. I have no idea how they would expect it to fit a larger cushion. Fabric was nice, not sure if it will hold up to a lot of wear & tear though.

I ordered these sofa slip covers for my sectional couch with high hopes. I was excited when I opened them as they felt and looked great. Unfortunately, they would only fit the standard cushions (nicely and snuggly) but would not work for the end (“T”) cushions, so I returned them.
