The best
I had some kittens that I had to bottle feed and I bought four other nipples at the same time to test them. This nipple was by far the best for the kittens. I had five day old kittens that needed supplemental milk because the mother was not producing any and this allowed a good flow without aspiration. I ended up buying another one to keep on hand just in case.

Great for emergency use
A great kit to have around for emergency use, especially if you’re like me and you tend to wind up being a first point of contact for people who have an orphan litter (I then hand them over to a qualified rescue organization, but sometimes need to take care of newborns for 24-48 hours). There’s a good variety of soft, well-made nipples in this kit in several different sizes and shapes, along with a handful of sterilized syringes. As a side note, if you use kits like this, you need to use a sterilized syringe for each feeding or you risk introducing microbes into the baby’s system – always use a new, fresh syringe!What I do like about this kit is that it comes with a small bottle for feeding larger babies, and it is fully sanitiable like a human baby bottle is, along with a nipple that most larger babies will accept, which really puts this kit ahead of others of its sort.

Perfect for my newborn kitten
I have a 2 week old abandoned kitten that I am caring for. I have another bottle that I got at a local store that has a much stiffer nipple that he was not taking well to. I ordered this kit as I really liked the variety of feeding options that it came with! The bottle is amazing and my kitten took to it immediately! It has a really nice e wide siliconelid with a long soft nipple and allows him to paw at it while drinking more closely imitating how he would nurse with his mom. The lid seats securely and I have had zero issues with leaking. The bottle holds 20ml of fluid and has easy to read markings so I know exactly how much he is getting.The kit also came with 4 presterilized syringes (2 – 1ml/2 – 5ml) as well as 4 each of 2 different syringe nipples (1 long and one short).

Good nipple design
I have been fostering orphaned kittens for years. By far, the best nipples out there are Miracle Nipples (MN). These nipples are exactly the same design as MN, but they are not made of the same quality of rubber/silicone. MN has a US patent, not sure if it’s for the design or materials or both. I would just watch that the baby doesn’t bite the end of the nipple and swallow it.The bottle is much different than the ones that I usually use. It is a bit bigger. The nipple just pulls off, doesn’t screw on, but for now it stays on tightly, not sure if that will loosen with time. The bottom wrap is very tight on the bottle, pull it down to get it off. It does take some strength to get them off, it was hard for my arthritic hands.The syringes are exactly what I use. The larger ones fit the nipples. If you are caring for a baby animal for more than a few days, you’ll need more syringes, cause you really should throw them out after one use. You can wash and reuse them a couple times for the same animal, but that is not ideal for sanitary reasons.Overall, I recommend this set for emergency use or to supplement your other supplies. I will try the bottle at some point, but am unsure how well it will work.
