I love the recipes they taste amazing . My dog figuired out how to get into a storage container and eat half of the container before i busted her.little turd.lol shes very satisfied with the recipes so they are puppy approved in my opnion so it was worth the buying of the book. I might have to buy the paper back as well.

These are just some things that I have read are not good for dogs
I did not intend to buy this book but some how I did when my cursor moved over the “buy now” button. It was very informative but there are a few things I want to address. 1). Never should sugar free any thing be used in dog food if it contains an artificial sweetener. I am not sure that Brittany meant not sweetened with anything or one with a sugar substitute. Xylitol for one is highly toxic to dogs and is in many sugar free foods especially peanut butter. 2). I have read many times that tomatoes are toxic to dogs. 3).I was giving my dogs a bit of chicken broth on top of their food. I then saw that it had mushrooms in it. Mushrooms are another food that can be highly toxic to dogs. My german shepherd puppy has a grain sensitivity so I am unable to use wheat in my recipes. I need to do more research to see which ones are ok for a grain sensitive dog.I am far from an expert on homemade dog foods. These are just some things that I have read are not good for dogs. I can not say I am sorry I clicked on this book by accident, it gave me a starting point.

More like a vacuous magazine article
I just wanted new ideas for Treats as I often make my dog cookies. The first 65 pages are double or triple-spaced and seem like light fact-free magazine articles. Driven more by old wives tales than facts. I was turned off and sad but deeply annoyed by the time it got to the ‘weight loss’ recipe built on a foundation of rice. The photo is of some or the rock-hard editing …… not everywhere but occasionally, spacing gone wrong.

Nice book, but only if you would have left out the w rice, flour and milk / organic whole wheat flour is ok and brown rice too but not plane all purposes flour or w rice. Great treats though. My dog and I will be glad to try them out.
