Works fine
Fit a 08 Honda fit connector perfectly and so far has performed as it should. One thing to note with the Honda Fit, tie in the blue wire on the antenna adapter to the blue amp wire on the harness or the radio reception will be horrible. Made this mistake and had to take the radio out again to correct it.

Yes, installing a new radio and wiring is challenging however, if you want to take this project upon yourself this harness makes it so much easier. Perfectly color coded and brings even a chart for wire matching to your radio harness. Direct plug and play to your factory harness. I highly recommend building/joining your radio and this harness prior to installing it to the car.

How to fix if now sound
Some cars like mine require you to cut and jumper an extra wire and the instructions don’t explain how to do this. Just check youtube if you don’t have sound after installing this cable. Besides the poor instructions and having to search the internet for a solution this cable works good.

It works but..
I was able to get everything set up fairly easily in my Honda fit, but after getting everything set up I realized a couple wires that didn’t have matches. I had to leave it as is and wrapped everything up safely and put it all back together but when I turned the radio on the whole right side doesn’t make a sound. So I am missing the wires to control the sound on the right side but other than that everything else work perfectly fine.

Perfect Fit, plugs right in.
I got this and wired it up and everything was great except there was no sound in my car(2008 SI Sedan). I learned that this harness isn’t the one for cars that have the premium sound system (EX, SI). After some research I found out that you simply have to splice the remote wire (blue/white or blue) into the light blue wire on the factory harness to power on the factory amp and turn on the factory speakers. That didn’t work for me either. I rewired it up with RCA’s attached to the wiring harness to use my headunit’s low-level line outs and that still didn’t work. All this time my subs would be one and kicking but no sound in the car. SO after about a week of frustration and ripping out my dirvers seat to get to the factory amp, I just decided to purchase the Metra 70-1727 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for 2006 Honda Civic Vehicles which bypasses the amp altogether. For a regular civic owner I say go for this harness, but for a premium sound system, I say just get the amp bypass. It’ll save you touching you factory harness and probably some days of frustration.

This adapter uses internationally recognized cable colour codes which matched the colour codes on the Sony receiver I installed and therefore easy to match up. Once the adapter cables were connected to the receiver cables, it was just a matter of plugging the factory harness terminal into this adapter as well as the supplied antenna adapter. All worked out well.
