Great for my Maine Coon Cat
My Maine Coon cat was scratching a lot, shedding hair, and occasionally coughing up hairballs. I have been using 1 squirt of this product (he weighs 17 lbs), daily in his morning wet food. The results are amazing! It took some time – maybe a few weeks. And now after two months, I really notice a difference. He isn’t constantly scratching, very little shedding of hair, and I can’t recall the last hairball I have seen. He is older now, aged 9, and I think it helps his joints. His hair is much silkier too.

We have given our German shepherd/golden retriever mix Vital Pet Life Salmon Oil since she was 5 months old. We live in Colorado and our pup had dry skin. Within a week or so of adding this product to her food, her skin greatly improved. She is 6 years old now and has a beautiful coat and healthy skin, I believe we have this product to thank for it. This Oil Works!
After some research and reading reviews about results I decided to give this brand Salmon Oil a chance. My YorkiePoo pup had a lot of dandruff and dry itchy skin. I add this to her meals once daily. After about 3 weeks I have noticed a change in her fur. The flakes have decreased dramatically and she is scratching less. I have also started using a spray by Burt’s Bees this week and I believe this product worked how we needed it to.

I purchased the biggest size, and when I opened the box the original lid (not the pump) was shattered within it. Thankfully the bottle was sealed or it would have spilled with no lid in shipping! My cat is extremely picky and she instantly took to this oil, I’m so thankful to have found a good product she likes— but I can’t report about long term benefits from this product yet. The ingredients are clean, the smell is clean, the pump works perfectly and my cat loves the taste so far!

Be careful of GI/stool bleeding
UPDATE: Following seeing my review the company reached out with a very heartfelt message regarding my sweet girl’s intolerance of their product and offered me a refund. While the product didn’t work out for her I will give them another chance in the future based on their customer service. It is so rare to find a company who is caring even when criticized. The fact that they went above and beyond and expressed empathy for her discomfort when they didn’t have to is heartwarming.I have been using a different brand of salmon oil for my dog for almost three years with no issues. When her regular oil was out of stock I researched and purchased this. After just one week she has excessive itching, is flapping her ears and constantly trying to scratch her back on the carpet. She has also started having blood in her stool which are all signs of gut and GI distress. After a vet visit, we isolated this change to be the issue. Thankfully her old oil has been restocked, but I am saddened that I wasted money on this product and cannot return it. While the product has great reviews be careful to watch for signs with your dog. I hate that she’s been uncomfortable for even a week.

The BEST Salmon Oil!
This is the 3rd bottle that I’ve bought of this Salmon Oil for my dogs (Golden Retriever & English Bulldog). I looked at several brands of Salmon Oil and this was the best in terms of price and limited ingredients. I love that it only has 2 ingredients Salmon Oil & Vitamin E. My dogs love this oil on their food and I give them 2 pumps with their first meal of the day. They lick the bowl clean to make sure they got every bit. Both of my dogs coats are softer after starting the oil and I love that it benefits their skin as well.

I did get the larger one but underestimated the quantity it would give serving 1/8 teaspoons a day, but at least I know I have my money’s worth and cat LOVES it !

Purchased this for my 4 month old British Longhair kitten and he seems to LOVE it!😻He tends to take a pause in between eating but ever since I added this in his wet food, he finishes his food at one go, where he would then lick the plate for the salmon oil!I can’t tell how it works on my kitten fur yet as it’s still early days but the person whom I got the kitten from did fed him salmon oil (different brand) and the kitten fur is indeed soft and healthy. This is the reason I decided get him salmon oil.The item arrived all the way from the US intact. Bottle has a seal so that prevented the leak. The bottle also came in sealed plastic packaging – in case it still leaks, at least it won’t make a whole mess in the the delivery box.The pump works well for me so far; no dripping issue. The salmon oil colour looks good and smell fine; fishy as I expect a salmon oil would be (but not at all overly strong).Very pleased with this purchase so will be getting the big bottle next time.

ive been trying to feed my cats better then how i used to feed them((dry kibble)) with no hydration. now i but them cans of wet food and mix it with water with a pump of the salmon oil! one of my cats is struggling with earmites and i read that fish oils help with it.(doesnt get rid of infestation mites just dont like fish oils.)

My 9 year old male cat was fussy at first but maybe cause we put too much by accident he wouldn’t even eat his lunch but now we put what the chart says for his age and size.. also our kitten but she isn’t fussy like him lol they both enjoy eating as normal lol
