Game-Changer for Anyone with Limited Mobility or Arthritis!
As someone with arthritis that severely limits my mobility, the Rehabilitation Advantage Wide Sock Aid has been a true game-changer in my daily routine. This is a simple yet effective tool makes putting on socks a hassle-free task, even on days when my joints are particularly inflamed. The design is impressively intuitive. The wide frame accommodates various sock sizes and types—everything from snug compression socks to my cozy wool pairs. The single cord is durable yet lightweight, making it easy to maneuver without straining my hands or wrists. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in the material choice too; the smooth surface ensures socks glide on effortlessly without snagging. One standout feature is its size and shape, which provide ample stability without being cumbersome. It’s sturdy enough to hold its position while I adjust my sock, but not so rigid that it’s uncomfortable to use. The cord length is ideal, allowing me to use it comfortably while seated or even from bed.If I had to offer one small critique, it would be that the grip on the cord could benefit from a more textured or cushioned handle to reduce strain for those with severe arthritis in their hands. That said, this is a minor point that doesn’t detract from the overall functionality. This sock aid has genuinely improved my independence and reduced the frustration I used to feel every morning. If you have arthritis, limited mobility, or simply want an easier way to put on socks, I cannot recommend this enough.

Put on your socks without bending over!
I was somewhat dubious of this device. However, after surgery, I couldn’t bend, lift or twist. So I tried this device. And it works great. It’s easy to use, not clumsy, works for any kind of sock and a great value for your money.

Works perfectly!
Bought it to help my grandmother with gaining some independence post knee surgery. Didn’t take long to figure out and now it’s her new favorite gadget! She hasn’t needed help getting her socks on since we got it!

Swollen foot? YES, this is probably wide enough to work for you.
I tried a variant of this device in Hospital after TKR. Foot swollen, device too narrow to slide foot into. Bought this one, which works nicely. However, if you’re fresh from a shower, dry foot may need a tiny sprinkle of Baby powder inside this device to make sliding foot really easy.

Somewhat Useful for Post-Surgery
I bought this ahead of a back surgery because I was told ahead of time that I would not be able to bend, lift, or twist after the surgery. I tried it out for a couple of days before my surgery, to get the hang of it.It is easy to use: you slip your sock on it, then lower it to your foot. Using the attached ropes / handles, you pull until the sock is on your foot.It mostly worked for me. A majority of the time, I wear ankle / no-show socks. I’m not sure if it was my teeny tiny socks or if this doesn’t fully work, but: it only pulled my sock halfway onto my foot. I had to reach down and pull the sock up so that it was all the way on my foot.I only ended up using it for two days post-surgery. Since it only put my socks on halfway, I figured I’d chance it and do a single-leg squat to put on each sock, since that isn’t so much ‘bending’ as it is ‘squatting.’

Easy to use and WORKS GREAT!
As elderly ladies with arthritis, putting on socks can be difficult. This product works so well that I immediately ordered one for a friend who also found it difficult to bend and put on warming socks. Thank you!

Helps BUT product only lasts a few months of use
Helps you with your socks and your foot easily slides into the sock, but has a very limited life. Putting the sock over the plastic shell continually compresses and stresses the plastic shell that holds the sock. After a few months of the bending of the plastic to get your sock over it, the plastic shell wears down and the plastic shell splits down the middle (vertically) rendering the product unusable. Have tried two, both resulting in the plastic splitting down the middle after only a few months of use.

Works well.
DJRICKJ –
By far the best sock helper I have bought. great solid design that should last. knocked off 1 star as the stick on foam that helps the sock pull up fell off within 2 days, but hot glue worked better anyways.
