Great Sound in an Outdoor Small Form Speaker
I ordered 2 sets of these speakers for my girlfriend’s outdoor gazebo and I was very happily pleased with sound they produce . I’m an audiophile so I am picky about sound and these speakers have enough clean sound to impress even me. The clarity at low volume is wonderful and small form allows you to mount and wire them anywhere. The recently got blasted by heavy wind & rain several times and made the grade as an outdoor speaker. Need outdoor speakers at a wonderful price ? You won’t go wrong here .

Sound nice. Custom made a little box with a mini amp and an old Logitech computer sub. Definitely recommend using a larger gauge wire then what comes with the speakers. It comes with a bunch of small wire and mounting hardware which is cool. Still haven’t ran them to the max. Waiting on a higher wattage amp that will put 160w peak to each speaker. Only running 60w each at the moment. Will update.

Ridiculously Great Value For My Noisy Cargo Van
Greatest speakers ever? Probably not. But for $23, I installed them in my cargo van and presto, I had great sound for a 3000 mile road trip. The cargo van is noisy by design, so no sense trying to overcome that. And I was looking at paying twice as much just for enclosures for some 6×9 speakers. That said, nothing I would call or clear strong bass comes out of these. The van came with an amp and wiring for a subwoofer, and so now I’m going to to buy that, but for road music, these were great as is. BTW, rated Durability as a 4 only because I haven’t had them for long. However, they DID survive a few hundred miles of gravel roads that rattled a few other things loose, so… so far so good!

These are average quality speakers. Priced right. One of them had a loose wire. Since I had to take one apart to solder the wire I put some wood panels in both to tame the plastic sound. More rigid enclosures would greatly improve the sound quality.

better than expected for a computer desktop 5.1 center front speaker
This 3 way speaker system replaced the front center of my Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Theater 5.1 (DTT2200) speaker system. The Pyramid 2022sx replacement has about the same sensitivity as the previous speaker; but, it definitely has more presence which is probably due to the improved high frequency end. This speaker isn’t “high fidelity” and I would not use it my home theater; but in a computer desktop environment it does quite well. I am ambivalent about giving it a 5 star rating because it is not commercial auditorium/movie theater grade (maximum SPL around 85 – 105 Db with no discernible IM distortion). The maximum SPL of this unit is probably in the 70 Db range – about the loudness of a vacuum cleaner. I haven’t done any laboratory work on it, just using my ears and guestimateing performance.I can’t believe that it could handle 200 watts RMS for more than a second or two. It probably could handle 30 watts peakThe computer audio system is fronted by an FjGear 4 port HDMI switch, then processed by a recycled Sony STRDH700 A/V receiver

Broke in first hour
They sounded fine when I hooked them up to the Dayton DTA-1 amp that I just purchased. While they are shy on bass, they seemed fine for the price… then I tried putting on the mounting brackets. Two out of the four mounts broke as I was attaching the brackets to mount them. I hardly even turned them and they inner nut broke loose. I tried unscrewing the speaker to get to it, but everything is glued shut. I finally went off to Best Buy and purchased their $35 Insignia speakers. HUGE improvement in sound and durability. They not only have bass, they are all weather speakers as well. Stay away from these. I would normally say, “You get what you pay for”, but in this instance, you don’t even get that.
