Good stuff!
Been feeding my 9 yo. guy Sheba wet as a supplement w/dry kibble as he wants. Lately he hasn’t been interestedso much in the wet, and is a concern as he slacks off on water occasionally and he is indoor/outdoor and I cannotmonitor his hydration. Read good reviews on this product and received it today and he ate the whole can in 2 sittings!It actually smells good and is larger than his usual serving, so I am VERY happy! I would say if you have a picky eater, try this, as it seems to be a very good product that is good smelling and my cat, who has a wide range of foods, really seems to like this , at least right now!

When I purchased a few cans in the store to try out my cats enjoyed it. The store couldn’t seem to carry enough of this particular flavor in stock so I went to Amazon.

Cats may be picky
We have two young cats, DSH mongrels of unknown origin, and one is pickier than the other. He will almost always lick the gravy off of whatever canned food we give him and then walk away. He prefers dry food but likes gravy better than water. The other will usually finish off what he leaves in addition to her own. I bought this because I thought there would be more gravy, but it doesn’t really seem so, and Mack is not impressed. Cookie eats it, but also seems to prefer some other kind. Neither of these spoiled brats will touch anything with fish. So this ranks somewhere in the medium range in their opinion. My cats are just perverse. Results will vary, and whatever they like one day will change as soon as we stock up. When I was a kid in the 1950’s my parents bought only one kind of canned cat food, and it looked and smelled like some kind of industrial waste. It was minced fish of some sort that came in pound cans. Our cats were content and stayed healthy somehow. Now we try so much harder with these expensive little cans, but you wouldn’t believe how many flavors have been rejected and the unopened ones donated to the local animal shelter. I’ll bet they have some far less picky cats, and your cats will have entirely different preferences. We also have a much older cat who has never been willing to even taste canned food. She was a shelter adoptee, and who knows what her experience was. Your best bet if you’re trying to please your cat is to experiment with different flavors and take notes before you settle on a bigger supply. If there are lots of reviews that say the same thing you might have found something to try or not.

I love the nutritious quality of the chicken with gravy. My cats cats have been eating these for over 5 years and still love them. They appear to like the gravy in the cans, which also adds moisture to their food, Since I don’t know how much water they drink in their bowls, this reassures me that they have another hydration source.
