Perfect Addition
I’m honestly not trying to plug here, but I feel the more information I can give, the better for everyone interested.Anyways, I have been using Ka’Chava as a meal replacement for most lunches and some breakfasts for about 6 months now, and I have lost a considerable amount of weight and put on muscle. I started adding this Pure Hemp Seed Protein into the mix a couple of weeks ago and it has been a perfect addition. Both have very complimentary flavors. This Pure Hemp Seed Protein in particular (which you’re here for) has such a nice nutty/earthy flavor. It’s subtle – not overwhelming. There is a kind of a gritty texture to it – which I personally enjoy. Again though, not overwhelmingly gritty. Please dont get scared off because I wrote that. It is very smooth considering it is Hemp Seed powder. I think it is just the perfect texture. And while the meal replacement itself is great, adding the Hemp Protein has kicked it up a notch further. In my opinion it improves on already great flavors, is just the right texture, and it seems to fuel me better and for longer.So far, I have only used it in simple smoothies – usually just the Ka’Chava, a scoop of the Pure Hemp Seed Protein, and tap water. At work I shake it up. At home I use the blender (sometimes adding ice and fruit). Both methods work great.I have yet to experiment with it in other ways, but all in all, I definitely recommend this product if you are going to be doing what I’m doing with it. If you can find other uses for it, great, please let me know. After all, it’s Hemp – probably could do anything with it. I don’t know what happened to the others whose review said theirs came spoiled – so far I have had no issues.Pure Hemp Seed Protein – I keep a bag at work and a bag at home. I will definitely be reordering.Thank you!

I use hemp powder daily, I find it an authentic supplement to my diet. Not strong flavour, nutty and unique, it mixes fantastic in smoothies, and I have sprinkled it into my porridge. It’s a gift I give to myself daily.

The taste is fine and the price is good. But no Omegas? Why? The other brands have it.

Works well in my morning protein shakes
I make my own protein shakes with hemp protein powder, raw cocao powder, spirulina, cinnamon, a little sea salt and psyllium–add in a little MCT oil powder (mix a week’s batch in the food processor). The protein powder is very smooth and blends well without any grittiness.

Great product horrible pacakging
I purchased this in the past but the others came in a contained bag. But this one was put in a box when yh space to rattle around and the paper bag did not hold together

Tastes great and a reasonable price!
The Pure ingredients are added to my morning smoothie. It has a mild nutty taste and I really enjoy it. I decided to try Pure as other protein powders are getting too expensive and the amounts of the powders are going down so I have to keep buying more! Thank you Pure! I will keep buying your product!

UPDATED: Serious Quality Issues
Updated review: I purchased this item for the second time, and will not be purchasing it again. The powder arrived spoiled. It tastes horrible! It must have gone rancid. It wasn’t eligible for a return so I had to reach out to Amazon for a refund. Throwing it in the trash. Such a shame. Going back to Nutiva I guess.I was buying the Nutiva brand hemp protein powder for years, but saw this pop up and decided to try it out. It mixes WAY more smoothly than the Nutiva brand. Not gritty at all. Let’s face it, unflavored hemp protein is never gonna taste great, but this one at least tastes smooth. I believe the protein content was higher for this one, AND it’s cheaper than the other brand. I’m sold. Hopefully they don’t jack up the price once it gets more popular.

Product inconsistent
This used to be a creamy color with little black specks. It was tasty and blended well but the packaging was not stable in transit and several shipments arrived with the package burst open and powder everywhere. The most recent shipment I received was a green powder which tasted like hemp protein so I am thoroughly confused and alarmed that the previous shipments from June til August were a different product and I have not received any response from Pure as to what product I was receiving and ingesting.
