I wanted a new piece of simple septum jewelry, and it’s very hard to find gold circular barbells of halfway-decent quality that aren’t $200+ solid gold. I thought this seemed like a good option, and I was absolutely right! It is externally threaded, so not the single most comfortable piece to insert, but it’s absolutely fine once it’s in. No inflammation, irritation, or adverse effects whatsoever. The ball is as easy to screw on as you can reasonably expect; the one downside is that it does loosen easily, and needs to be adjusted a few times per day to keep it from falling off. Overall, this little barbell gets the job done, and I’d definitely buy it again.
