These Plus Vegetables are Good For You
This is a thirty day supply in one jar, and my first jar. The form of these gummies are not quite half spheres, it looks like a basic form of molding the product. The color is a dull green. The aroma is a bit fruity and a bit earthy, not like candy. The flavor is along the lines of the aroma, half fruit and half vegetable . . not unpleasant but a strange mix. I am taking these because I don’t eat enough vegetables. I don’t eat enough vegetables because I don’t like the taste and texture of many of them, but I do take a portion and eat it because it’s good for me. Hopefully these gummies will fill in for some of the benefits of whole vegetables; they can’t provide the fiber benefits, though, so these are not a replacement for vegetables. I wish I found these tastier, but they’re not bad. The texture is not pure gelatin, there’s some powdered solids in there that remind me I’m getting some healthy stuff. How do you rate the effectiveness of a supplement, especially in less than thirty days? Keep eating your vegetables would be my advice, and consider these icing on the broccoli cake.I like to see that these are made in the USA. I did notice on the label is a warning- “Reproductive Harm- http://www.P65warnings.ca.gov/foods“. When you go there to read up, it just says that there are some vegetables that can take up chemicals, ranging from naturally occurring arsenic to manmade BPA, lead, mercury . . the site says you should be aware of what you are eating and limit consumption of foods with harmful chemicals. Kind of raises more questions than it answers, but they do say eat more fresh foods, limit processed foods. This product says it contains ingredients of both domestic and imported origins.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I ordered these more on a lark.However, I like what these offer, a way to get some of the nutritional content of greens into your diet in a convenient, easy way. The price might be prohibitive for some though. I’m not a fan of maltitol and maltodextrin, but these are small gummies and the quantities of these additional ingredients are perhaps insignificant.The taste is attractive for me as it heavily leans into the green idea without being over the top. This isn’t supposed to be candy, after all.For me, my plan is not to consume these daily, but to keep on the side for when I feel my diet for the day was lacking. So far, that has happened once this week already.

First off, these gummies don’t look anything like the reddish gummies pictured, they’re just brown and much less appetizing looking. They’re much easier to take than the powdered greens I usually use and instead of having a whole cup of greens I have to drink, you can easily chew and swallow the small gummies. The flavor is just ok. Nothing I would want as a treat, and they do have a little after taste that lasts for a minute or so, but they aren’t terrible. I do wish the company would do a comparison of their powdered greens vs the gummies side by side to see what each offers. Two gummies is much smaller than a big scoop added into water.
