A premium block for a budget price
One day, I noticed that my 22 month old was trying to stack wooden blocks on top of each other to form towers, but was getting frustrated when these towers collapsed. I figured that if only I had blocks that could stick to each other and to a base, this frustration could be avoided. I went on Amazon to buy some DUPLO blocks…only to be shocked at the price.I carefully researched all of the blocks out there. All of the knock-off DUPLO blocks got bad reviews, except this one. So I took a leap of faith and ordered this product. I have been extremely satisfied with it, as has my toddler. These blocks are sturdy. They stick to each other. They stick to name-brand DUPLO blocks. They stick to the name-brand DUPLO base. They are pretty indistinguishable from DUPLOs. My toddler can build a tower taller than she is and it won’t collapse.The box they come in is also surprisingly sturdy. It’s just a cardboard box with a handle, but my toddler uses it as a toy as well. She loves tipping the box over and having all of the blocks fall out, and she loves putting the blocks back in the box one at a time. The only flaw is that the box is clearly not designed to be re-used, because once you open it there is no mechanism for closing it again. We have to put weights on top of the lid to keep it closed when not in use.

Perfect basic blocks!
These blocks are great and exactly what I was looking for. Tons of blocks for unlimited configurations unlike the name brand that only seems to offer specific themed sets. The larger size is perfect for my 3 year old. He has no trouble building on his own. Sturdy construction and they fit perfectly onto the Duplo building mat that I also purchased. Even my 14 year old enjoys them. I really like that the box comes with a handle, very convenient should my little one want to take these to Grandma’s house. Although honestly, they’re always out and have yet to make it back in the box! They are played with daily, and I’d even like to get more. They’re wonderful for imaginative play and building those fine motor skills. Excellent value and I highly recommend.

They’re basically off brand legos
Yes, they’re truly compatible with Lego’s Duplo blocks! You get so many bricks for the price, and they fit just right with the Duplo baseplates. We purchased these for our three year old who loves building blocks, but sometimes struggles building to her desire with the smaller Lego pieces. These bricks pull apart easily for her, but still stick to build the tallest tower for her imagination. Great tool for STEAM independent play or family play!

Excellent Alternate To Duplo At A Fraction Of The Cost
I purchased a Lego Steam Train set for my two year old grandson. Along with it, Lego included half a dozen of standard building blocks. I soon discovered that the blocks were more interesting to the kid than the train! Given that I started shopping for genuine “duplo” blocks. I do not mind sharing the sticker shock! Many sets actually amounted to a dollar per block. I just could not justify that. I started researching alternates and came across a few choices on eBay and Amazon. The best reviews seemed to steer me to Prextex and I ordered the 300 piece set. I half expected to find them not a good deal…boy was I surprised. I actually mixed them in with Lego brand and literally could not tell the difference. The ONLY difference was the little Lego in the center of each blocks lugs. They feel the same, couple the same, and look the same (even the same sheen). The knock-offs get my vote! Last thing to mention; you get six or seven Prextex for the price of one Lego brand. That is deal maker for me. I recommend them to anyone who wants Lego but not willing to pony up they high price that comes with them. PS 300 blocks are a whole bunch!!

Good value but returned for inconsistent pieces
The blocks are at a very good price point compared to Legos. I returned this because there were pieces that were not fitting onto baseboards and I tried 2 different baseboards.

Great quality! Good amount of blocks, and they certainly hold up, I’ve stepped on a few in my work boots and they didn’t break/crack.

Used it with my 2.5 yo, easy to stick together and take apart, they are sturdy, they have vibrant colors and work super well with the lego duplo board. I am generally very satisfied. I wished there was more variety in shapes. I would gladly buy another set with other shapes from the same brand.
