I got this dress to wear with some kind of shaw or light sweater jacket. So I can’t really attest to how it looks as the dress itself. However with something over my arms and shoulders it still looks very cute. The top portion is a stretchy material, as is the interior of the skirt portion. The outside skirt is made of a nonstretchy material that is a light cotton fabric in feel, and says it’s 100% cotton on the listing (I am very inclined to believe the skirt exterior is indeed cotton, and they are not just claiming that with a mixed fabric like other brands I have tried) The outside skirt fabric is sewn to the inner fabric at both the top and bottom, giving it a puckered belled out look at the bottom of the dress.I got a size small according to their size chart, and it fits me well. If you have larger arms, the arm holes might start to be a little tight for you.The top is very form fitting due to the nature of the fabric, the skirt portion has a nice flow and movement to it.You can pull it down low as shown, or leave it a little higher off the shoulders, and get a more casual higher waisted dress with mid-shin length skirt. Since the top is so stretchy, I can wear it up on my shoulders and it still looks good after arranging the collar to flip under some.Most importantly, and the main reason I even got this dress, it has pockets! My whole hand fits in them. They are not huge, but they are respectable pockets. Don’t want to carry a small clutch all night? Pockets. Have extra stuff that won’t fit in the purse? Pockets. Hate purses all together and travel light with a wallet, phone, and lip balm? Pockets! (Fits my Samsung S23)I used a color catching product upon first wash and got black dye out. Since the skirt is so light on my variation (black top, apricot skirt), I recommend using a dye catching product of some kind on the first wash or two just in case the top decides to try and make the skirt look a little gray.So far I really like this dress. I wear it for more casual occasions, with the more casual look higher on the shoulders. However, I am sure it would look great as shown, for a more fancy night on the town.

Top wouldn’t lay flat
The top wouldn’t lay evenly and kept bunching. I was annoyed just trying it on and couldn’t imagine wearing it for an extended period of time. If the top layer flat it would be super cute.

I literally NEVER leave reviews, but I loved this dress so much… I had to. I honestly wish I could give it 4.5 stars, as the only issue I had was the collar kept getting crinkled/wrinkled. It didn’t necessarily lay flat, but honestly it’s such a small imperfection that it didn’t make me dislike this dress. This also could have been user error or I have a funky body.The material is great! As expected. A stretchy top bust/core and a lighter, non stretchy bottom portion.The pockets are HUGE! I put ALL the things in it.The length is great, very modest but still sexy. I’ll add a picture because I find reviews with photos and body measurements are helpful AF.I’m 5’7, 195 lbs and I got an XXL. It was stretchy enough that I might have even been able to size down. Love this dress, highly recommend. I’m going to buy it in red next I think.

Very pretty
This is a lovely dress, with a few minor issues. It is very comfortable, with a stretchy jersey bodice and attached cotton bubble skirt. It easily pulls on over the head, with no buttons or zippers to worry with. The skirt does wrinkle easily, but I love the deep pockets. My only real gripe with this dress is that the sleeve/ neckline fabric tends to flip up and do its own thing, so I have to fiddle with it to move it back into place. Other than the neckline and the necessity of ironing the skirt portion, this dress is so elegant, and feels very high quality.As for sizing, I am 5 foot 7, weigh 175 pounds, have a 36C bust with narrow shoulders, a short torso, and a wide but flat derriere, carry most of my weight in the middle, and wear a US women’s size 10 or 30 pants (medium size pants and joggers at Old Navy and H&M), or a woman’s 10 or 12 in dresses. I ordered this dress in a large, and think the fit is just right (see my pics).I love this dress, and would absolutely order again from this brand.
