Great Fit & Fabric, But Where Are the Pockets?
From Wife’s Perspective:This summer dress has a cute design with bows and ribbons throughout. It comes in multiple colors, including pink, black, blue, burgundy, purple, and white. I decided on the pink one.The fabric is soft, lightweight, and breathable, making it perfect for hot weather. The ribbed design on the bust provides good coverage, even for larger sizes, and it’s not low-cut. The thick, ruffled straps help cover bra lines, and it has a thin inner lining to prevent it from being see-through.The dress is stretchy and flowy, making it comfortable to wear while also hiding the midsection. I am 5’2”, and it’s a little long on me, but it works well with heels. I wear an XL, and the fit was true to size.Cons -The product title says the dress has pockets, but I couldn’t find them.

I ordered this PRETTYGARDEN Women’s 2025 Floral Maxi Sundress Smocked Tank Dress Sleeveless Ruffle Summer Tiered Long Dresses with Pockets because it was a close duplicate of my new favorite dress, which is black and white with the same cute little bow pattern.I loved the black and white smocked dress so much that when I saw a similar version in pink from PRETTYGARDEN, I couldn’t resist. My experience with PRETTYDRESS in the past has always been positive; their dresses are well sewn and attractive at excellent price points.This dress is made from 100% polyester; it has a lining that is also 100% polyester. The fabric is lightweight and breathes nicely; the lining fabric is soft and slightly silky to the touch.I can be tricky to fit in dresses; I have an hourglass figure, larger up top as I’m a bit busty. I wear a M tee but a L in a button down blouse; I wear a 6 in jeans and a S or M in skirts and leggings. Smocked bodice dresses have become my favorite in the last few years; they stretch nicely over my chest, but show my small waist, too.I ordered this in a size L; it fits nicely with extra stretch still unused in the bodice. I found the dress quite figure flattering; the smocked bodice skims my figure without clinging, and the long skirts make me look taller, something I can use at only 5’2”. I do have to be careful to lift my skirts on the stairs, since they are quite long on me.I also find these smocked “nap” style dresses very comfortable for daily wear. I’m disabled with chronic health issues and a kind of messed up spine (broken neck, fusions, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stimulator); I’m lucky to work from home, and a comfortable dress has become a daily uniform. My mobility is limited; a smocked bodice dress pops over my head in about two seconds, and I’m dressed for the day. On good days, I work at my desk; on rough days, I work propped against pillows in bed. This dress looks cute either way, and I can take a nap in the middle of difficult days, and go straight back to work.I love the pale pink color and the black bow pattern; this dress has a very 1950s feel because of the color palette. Lightweight, flowy, super comfortable; this is a lovely dress for spring/summer wear. I like it so much I’m ruching the season a bit; it looks cute under a black cardigan, and on cold days, ai layer it over tights or leggings.Oh, and it has pockets! I’m a type 1 diabetic and wear an insulin pump and CGM; it can be difficult to find women’s clothes with good pockets, but I love them because then I can stow my pump there.At the current price ($39.98) I think you get a lot of value with this dress. My grandmother taught me to divide the sticker price of clothing with how often you wear it; a coat that cost $200 dollars and lasted ten years is far less per wearing than a $30 coat you wore three times before it fell apart. By these standards, I know I’ll wear this well made, nicely sewn dress many times this year and beyond.That being said, I was inspired to purchase this dress because I own a very similar one in black and white instead of pink and white. That one was almost $10 less. I did a little poking about; this seems to be a popular design this spring, and I found versions of it selling for as much as $75!Feminine, flirty, fun, and very easy to wear. It rolls up easily for packing; great for a getaway weekend as it doesn’t take up much space in your bag, and you can dress it up or down.

Flattering fit
The fabric is soft and feels good against my skin. I like the color and print pattern. The stitching is even and well made. It flows nicely over the body for a flattering fit. This is a quality maxi dress for casual to dressy summer style. It does fit true to size. Good value

Ok but not what I hoped for
I really wanted to love this dress. I’m not really big on smocked or tiered skirts but that seems to be most of what you can find lately so I took a chance on it. The smocked bodice fits me well and the shoulder straps are comfortable. The rest of the dress is a nice length.What I don’t love:1. I got the navy dress, and the bows are actually light pink. It’s weird. The picture makes it look like they’re white.2. It’s very staticky.3. You need another layer under it if there’s a chance of being in sunlight, even in the dark fabric.

Bows, bows, bows!
I love this dress! The fabric type indicated that only the white and pink would be lined, so I was prepared to need to wear a slip with this dress. As a person with a larger chest and what I consider wider shoulders I always hesitate to wear something without sleeves, but the idea of the white bows on the burgundy dress was too cute to pass up. The straps on the dress do line up with other straps so if you need to pin it, that is great. I did decide to add a short shrug in white, a white belt and some white wedges to help highlight the white bows. The dress is long, I am 5’5” and in low wedges it hits perfectly as a long flowing Spring dress.

Pretty and Comfortable Dress
Such a pretty and comfortable dress! Living in the desert, I love light and flowy dresses. This dress absolutely fits the bill. The fit is true to size. The length of this dress reaches the floor as I am only 5’2”. I love the whimsical print, the ruffle shoulder straps, smocked bodice, and the softness of the fabric.

Ready for summer weather
I got this dress to be ready for summer weather. It’s very lightweight, which also means the fabric fairly thin. I am not sure I would go to the extent of saying its see through, but it would make me question how it looks in direct sunlight if not wearing a slip or shorts of some kind underneath. The dress is long which I appreciate because I am almost 5’10”, would work great with some heels for the shorter ladies. The color is beautiful, and the little bow design is super cute as well. It is comfortable to wear. For size reference, I am usually around a women’s size 18 and I got the XXL, it even feels slightly loose on me but after a few washes that may change. The top part around the chest is stretchy so it’s comfortable on my very large chest, again….I appreciate that.I look forward to having some light and comfortable to wear this summer since I never wear dresses. But I know this should be more comfortable than shorts all the time.
