More like a polishing pad
Not at all what I was looking for. This pad is a polishing pad and not like another brand of dual pad that I normally buy. This was cheaper so I thought I’d give it a try. Unless you want a polishing pad don’t get this. I use a hob filter that has 4 slots I use for mechanical and biological filtration. The first two are mechanical and I use dual filter pads that normally work great. These pads hamper the water flow so much they almost immediately trigger the overflow. Probably great pads for the right purpose just not mine. Quality and price are great. Hence the 3 star rating

It’s just polyester filter floss. It seems to work. It’s v fine so you will probably have to change it out quite frequently. Get it if it’s cheap

This is good so far. It is very thick, which I like. 6 feet will last for a while, for what I need it for (not an aquarium). The filter does not pull apart easily, which is very important for any use.For the money, this is a good deal.

I use this inside my Fluval 307 and Fluval c4 works amazing as you just cut to size . I took the chemical filtration out while medicating the tank and filled it with a layer of 30 ppi sponge filter and a couple layers of this filter floss. My water is crystal clear , no smell , just an amazing product . Can be used instead of expensive filter media and it works better !
