Best vegan, non-dairy protein powder.
I’ve tried several non dairy ,vegan protein powders. This is the best by far. It mixes well with whatever non-dairy milks I use, it has a slightly sweet, pleasant taste. It has a good consistency; not thick and clumpy, nor is it grainy. Some powders I’ve tried in the past have given me a stomach ache, I have never had a problem with this one. I have purchased both the vanilla and the chocolate. The vanilla is best. The chocolate doesn’t really have a true rich chocolate taste. I’ve had to add a little cocoa powder to my smoothie to get a deeper chocolate taste. Overall it’s a great product.

Love this protein powder
This by far my favorite. I get the vanilla flavor that way I can add peanut butter, banana, little cinnamon 👍. Could you please make a Cookies and Cream????

Finally something that doesn’t give me a stomach ache
This protein powder has been a great alternative to whey protein. While it does not have as many grams of protein per serving as other types (15g in comparison to 27 or 30+,) it still provides the minimum of protein I need after a workout or when I get up in the morning. The best part: it tastes GOOD. It isn’t pasty or powdery when mixed, and I’m just using a blender bottle to mix it. The flavor is very full.I use coconut milk or almond milk to mix it, but have used water in a pinch and was NOT left with a bad taste in my mouth. It still was great! The chocolate is a little thicker than the vanilla version and requires a little more liquid to mix, which doesn’t detract from the product for me.Bonus: less protein farts! Your mileage may vary on that part.

This tasted better than I thought it would
This tasted better than I thought it would. The chocolate flavor is great and is my staple in the pantry. Decided to try the vanilla, it does have a slight vitamin-like taste but I added it this morning to applesauce I just made, added walnuts and dates and it was pretty good!

Great for Vegans and None Vegans!
This is my absolute favorite protein powder, ever. The chocolate flavor is smooth and rich. I do NOT recommend the strawberry. I do crossfit, powerlifting, distance running, and body building competitions.this is a great post workout shake. I also use it when I have a late night craving.I’ve been vegan since I was 12, and wish this was around a lot sooner. The macro balance is really nice too. I’m 5’2″ and usually between 110-120, so I don’t need a protein poweder with 30grams of protein in it. This has 15 and is actually perfect for my macros. It is also easy to digest! I mix mine in a shaker cup, sometimes I mix it in the Vitamix….as it does have some small flex/chunks.

Great nuitrition at a great price; tolerable taste
If you want something that tastes really good, this isn’t it. There are a number of plant-based protein shakes that taste better. However, if you are looking for a really good deal on a high quality plant-based protein shake that is pretty OK in taste, you’ve found one. I like it best in water – the cocoa doesn’t dissolve well in almond milk (I just use a spoon – other methods probly have better results). The flavor is pretty neutral, so it makes a good smoothie base.I really like that this has protein from not only brown rice and peas, but also hemp, chlorella, and cranberry. It also thickens up nicely and keeps me full for a long time.I am going to repurchase, despite being OK at best flavor-wise. I’m about 25 servings in and it is growing on me. The price and nuitrition are right and it will be one of the 3 or 4 plant-based protein powders I keep on hand.

gritty and not a good flavor
I’ve tried many protein powders and this is one of my least favorite. The texture is very gritty and the taste is overpowering. I tend to like whey powder better, but I have had some vegan powders that were ok. This one is not. Even my boyfriend who will eat about everything isn’t going to help me finish this. I will not buy again.

Coming from a Whey drinker- ON golds etc
Coming from whey protein’s, my sister recently gave me her tub of Vega plant based protein (chocolate banana flavor). It was 17 servings for $35 -20grams of protein per serving. To me that was extremely expensive coming from 30 servings for the same price with brands like ON or ISOpure. From researching I found out that Vega was one of the most popular brands out there but I wanted to try an alternative cheaper option. So I go on Amazon and find Planthead, $20 for 30 servings which decent nutrition(a bit lower on the protein side- 15grams per scoop) but I was like why not give it a go. It’s been a week of using it and…Pro’s-Affordable/ Pretty good ingredient profile/ Excellent logo and design on the jug.Con’s-Flavor is funky, a mixture of grass and chocolate( I guess that’s what you should expect for plant based)Lower protein than othersOverall its ok, will I buy again? Probably not but thats because I still drink whey based/ do not have a vegan diet. If you are purely a Vegan or want to add some plant based protein in this is something to definitely consider.
