Great brush for a poodle or doodle.
I purchased this brush for our poodle after reading other reviews and I must say that I am impressed! The value for money with this brush is hard to beat. The metal pins are soft and do not pull our poodles hair while giving a very premium feel to our brushing routine. I recommend this brush to anyone with a poodle or doodle that is looking for a great brush and isn’t wanting to break the bank!

Best brush with incredible customer support
I’ve been using these brushes for 4 years everyday in my grooming salon. No other brush holds up the way that these do. I’m constantly using them to de-matt dogs, fluff their coat to get the perfect cut and they always give the best results. Very comfortable handle, even after hours your hand doesn’t hurt from gripping it. The bristles are a great length to reach down to the pups skin. And they are super easy to clean out.

I have a long haird Siberian Husky. The long bristles work very well at getting undercoat out. (If you have a short haired dog, the long pointy bristles may scratch. My German Shepherd had shorter less dense hair, and the long bristles go straight to his skin and scratch him. He has itchy skin because of alergies so he actually loves it, but it may be too much for a more sensitive dog.) My only complaint is that the bristles are very strong, they have no give, so when you catch a tangle or mat it pulls really bad. My pup hates it. If the pins had just a bit of give to detangle I think it would work perfectly! It feels well made, I don’t think it will break easily. It’s pretty easy to clean buy rolling the hair out of the bristles. I included a picture of my pup so you can see how long his fur is.

This brush works wonders
This brush is a game changer even for poodles and doodles (I own both). My F1B St Berdoodle gets matted without being brushed and since we lose our original brush, we bought this one. I thought the original one was “ok” but this one blows that one out of the water. The longer bristles/pins get deeper into the fur and can even demat the coat. Feels good in the hand and it’s actually quite easy to remove the hair from the brush. I love it. Highly recommend.

Great for our Sheltie, Bella!
This brush is such a helpful addition to our efforts of maintaining our little sheltie gal, Bella’s, beautiful coat. Please don’t judge me from the before photos!! This brush takes a little practice getting g the angle right but wow does it do the trick. I’m convinced that we could have cloned Bella with all of the undercoat that this has harvested!We adopted Bella from a local pound-shelter, she’d been dropped off at about 1 year of age by her owners who complained of excessive barking and submissive peeing. She’s tall for a sheltie but not as large as a Collie…previous owners stated they bought her at a local pet store 😕 so WHO KNOWS!I knew nothing about the breed so I’ve been a DIY Sheltie student of Google (and helpful tips from Barbara at Mid Fl Sheltie Rescue!!).I WISH I FOUND THIS BRUSH SOONER!!! Totally worth the price – grip is easy, comfortable and sturdy; it GREAT for double coated coats – surprised I haven’t seen more Sheltie owners comment!! Bella is now around 10-11 and is entering her senior years with beauty and grace (minus a few teeth). Before and after / Right side, we attempted a comparison to non brushed side. Hope our review helps our fellow Amazon pups and friends!

11 year groomer, 2+ Year old Slicker …
I’ll just go ahead and say it, I’m more than most likely better than 99% of the groomers that are posting about this product (which I have bought 6 times, when the price was $18.99-20.99 range). I’ve owned two CC’s prior to buying oodles of the Flying Pawfect brand and have been quite pleased with them. They are almost identical in shape, except the FP has a better handle. I noticed that most of the negative comments are from people who have received defective products and don’t bother getting a return and just come on here to blast a product. Those are the groomers I usually stay away from, those are the kinds that like to talk trash behind clients backs – yucky. Having owned these since at least 2021, none of them have broke up on, only one is missing 3 pins and that one has been downgraded to my dirty/pre work brush. In comparison, my first ever CC brush started failing after 2 years and I had to buy another. That was a work load of 9-12 dogs a day with my own bather. CC’s handle is way too thin for people with arthritis, FP’s is nicer – but still not great (Miracle Coat’s probably has the most comfortable handle). CC line has an over inflated ego now trying to branch out in the grooming market and is killing groomers with the ridiculous inflation – while the rest of the market has not only caught up, but improved the CC brush at an affordable price point. If you’re still reading, don’t let the PetSmart groomers deter you from your purchase – I’m boujie groomer that worked with very wealthy clients, but also a groomer who can work with dogs from full sedation to no drugs at all. So I do work. Get the Flying Pawfect be happy with the price point and it’s body of work and if you get a defective one ask for a replacement – because you would do the same thing with a CC brush (and yes, I have seen the CC one’s break in a week just from dropping).

I used to have shelties and struggled to get them brushed well. If only I had known about this brush! It is amazing. It works so well getting the undercoat out and gently working out tangles. It’s a real life saver.

Wanted a slicker brush that gave off the same concept as the chris christensen brush without breaking the bank and spending over $100 some. Love this brush, brushes hair really well and gentle on my golden retrievers hair. Makes his hair look very fluffy especially on his mane and his long tail!

The pins are pretty stiff so it dose snag up a little but it also works incredibly well for removing tangles I’ve found some dogs don’t mined it but others don’t like when it snags
