Attaches simply to any air pump with a normal 3/16” airline tubing. A number of stones will be hooked up in a collection for bigger tanks.
This aquarium aerator has prolonged sides to be coated in gravel which holds product to backside of aquarium. Even with the robust circulation of bubbles it’s going to keep safe.
Air stone will be positioned wherever in your fish tank. Blue colour blends in with environment or it may be hidden underneath gravel.
Air Stone measures 10 inches in size by 2 inches extensive and can be utilized in each freshwater and saltwater tanks.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS: Because of the bigger dimension of this air stone, chances are you’ll want to extend the circulation in your air-pump. We additionally advocate utilizing a pump that places out a minimum of 1.6-2.0 liters per minute to have sufficient air-flow to create a full wall of bubbles. If the top cap just isn’t safe, air will leak out stopping bubbles from popping out by way of the stone. Works, small/medium bubbles
This works well, although I will say my pump didn’t! This stone put out maybe 2 streams of bubbles! So I bought a better pump and tried this product again. MUCH better. I got a pump rated for a 55G tank instead of my 10G pump. I will say that I get an even stream of bubbles now although I wouldn’t say they are super fine bubbles. They aren’t as many/small as the picture, but it still looks nice.I will say I tried to connect this to another stone and it didn’t work. Again, I think I should have gone up to a 100G pump to connect two and have them work, but in reality, they didn’t connect together well so I’m not sure if it would have really worked in the end anyway.

    degrading performance over time
Less and less of the stone is producing bubbles. When I started with it 9 months ago almost the entire length of the air stone had bubbles. Now only the first 2 inches show bubbles. In the beginning the bubbles were medium and now they are rather large, to the point that they are disturbing the surface and it splatters.

    Didn’t work for me.
Only got about 2 inches of bubbles out of it on the air input side using a 3.5 watt pump. For what it is worth mentioning, I got a Penn Plax under gravel kit that was great except for one of the air stones was defective.

Does exactly what it says it will
Huge airstone, and with a proper pump to drive it, pushes a ton of air into an aquarium. Please keep in mind that a pump designed for “20 gallons” is designed to push air through one or maybe two acorn-sized air stones. This thing is almost the size of a 12″ ruler that you grew up with. It’s huge. You must have an oversized pump to push air through this monster, and if you do, it creates a wall of bubbles.

Very poor flow of bubbles manly at one end. Have soaked it in water as advised, cleaned it in various solutions that have been suggested, blown it dry with air pump left it to dry naturally. Still no better, air bubbles at opposite end to inlet, very poor air flow at inlet end. Much better flow from cheap airstones. Complete waste of money Do not buy.
