Convenient Little Product In Laptop Bag
I bought this product because I hate seeing my laptop screen and keyboard dirty so I thought this would be nice to accompany me in my laptop bag. The product is pretty small. The closest thing I can compare it to is that it is slightly smaller than a post it pad.Quality:The quality of this product is well built. There is a lever to bring out the brush and a cap that covers the “eraser” for the screen. The brush quality and softness actually surprised me when I got it. I expected the brush to be kind of firm but it was super soft that I can barely feel it when brushing up against my skin. The “eraser” aka screen smudge eraser was great too. However, my concern is not being sure how to clean that.Usability:The keyboard duster portion is self explanatory. It got within the cracks and can get out dust pretty quickly. Don’t expect this product to get some of those stickier things out. That of course will require water. The eraser portion is super easy to use but I recommend going in one direction as there may be some residue/dust in the end once you use it.Overall, this is a solid product to keep in your backpack if you’re going on trips or need to take your laptop outside. Of course this doesn’t replace wipes that you might need to more heavy cleaning but it is nice when your laptop isn’t too dirty already. A solid product and I would recommend.

OK product but you can probably do better for less money
I’ve been a PC tech for over 40 years now, and as you can probably guess, have better cleaning options in my tool bag, but I got one of these to give it a shot.Giving it it’s due, it’s fairly compact and if you want to just throw something in your purse or brief case for your phone it’ll do the trick. Desktop PC’s or laptops, well that’s another story.First, the brush. Dense, very soft and good for getting the dust off the keyboard and monitor. Probably works better on laptop keyboards than full size desktop key boards. Better solution: A 1″ paint brush, obviously never used for panting. Stiffer and longer bristles to dig deep. For desktop keyboards, turn them upside down and give them a couple of hard smacks on the side first, then brush them out. Well built, but only serves one purpose.
Seems like a nicely designed OXO product in the hand. But it really is only for dusting laptop keys and wiping the screen.I thought it would also work for my full sized desktop keyboard; it doesn’t. The brush is not stiff enough. It’s a soft brush just to push some crumbs off your laptop chiclet keys. The red side seems to be OK for a rugged laptop screen, but doesn’t do a thorough clean (esp. on a desktop screen where you might have more need to be gentle and achieve optimum results). Doesn’t replace cleaning fluid and a soft cloth.So, it’s OK, but know why you are buying it. Keep it with your laptop bag.Also, be careful about the price, since it seems to change multiple times a day between $12 and $16. I decided to buy it at one price, but when I checked out, I wound up paying more and didn’t notice.
