Prevention for my senior dog
One of my dogs is a senior, and I can see that his teeth are discolored. The vet said they aren’t too bad for an 11 year old dog but recommended Oravet to prevent having him put under for a cleaning, which would be both stressful to him and expensive for me. I trust my vet, and I believe these chews are probably working. My dog’s breath is definitely better. He absolutely loves these. They take just a few minutes for him to chew up. They smell a little funky to me but aren’t too bad. I didn’t give this product five stars because of how expensive it is – around $1.25 per chew. Because of this, I only give them to my dog every other day or so. However, if they keep him from needing a cleaning and dental work, they are worth it.

Essential dog care to go along with brushing
After my dog was diagnosed with bad dental plaque and needed an expensive procedure to correct the problem I was advised to use these by my veterinarian to go along with normal brushing. Fortunately both my dogs love them and are eager to eat them whenever offered. I don’t use them all the time despite my vet telling me that is is safe to use them more regularly, so I was told to ‘stop being stingy’ with these dental treats. I’ve tried to be more conscientious with my dogs and have tried to balance their desire for treats and their needs for clean and healthy teeth. Interestingly enough, the smell for these treats smell like vanilla and actually have a pleasant flavor.. don’t ask how I know.

Our dog loves this dental chew! Not only is it like a treat for him but in combination with daily teeth brushing I have noticed a significant improvement in his dental plaque. Keep in mind that it does make his poop a green color but has not caused any diarrhea. Would highly recommend this product for others.

Really improved Merlins breath
My frenchie Merlin loves these. His breath was terrible and now its not! I did want to say something about delivery. It states in my account that this package was handed to me and I signed for it. That never happened! The package was left on my porch as always, which is fine.
