I saw one of these in a store recently, but it was a dog instead of a cat. This one is even cuter. The fabric is soft. The silly little thing has a baby bottle so children can pretend it’s their baby. It comes with a little food bowl and a piece of “salmon” so they can feed it, too. It has a comb and a hair dryer so they can “groom” it. Its “leash” is the control to make it walk. It does that without falling over. They can pet its head or make a clapping noise to make it meow. It wags it tail and shakes its head like a dog, but this is just pretend, of course. It doesn’t always respond, so try, try again. You need your own batteries, and I advise that you put them in before giving them to a child. It isn’t that easy. The licking motion is cute. It’s just a motion of the head up and down, but its TONGUE actually moves. It is entertaining for little ones and like it, too.

Cute, Talkative Kitty
A bit annoying but my kids have enjoyed playing with this robotic kitty. I ordered this toy in hopes that it would be a good precursor to us getting actual kittens (which we have now). Luckily, the toy is more vocal than my actual kittens lol. I appreciate that there is an off/on switch on the abdomen of the toy so that when its not it use it is quieter. The cat has smoother movements than i anticipated, and it walks really well along both carpet and hardwood. Again, I wish it was quieter, maybe a lesser volume option along the switch panel in addition to off and on. It’s a good size, compatible with stuffed animals that my kids own, and slightly bigger than regular sized ty plushies. The toy comes with quite a bit of accessories, including leash, brush/comb, feeding dish and color. I’d recommend this for little ones who love animals, cats particularly. Would make a good birthday or holiday gift for a little animal lover.

Adored… But Lacking Quality
For any little cat-lover, this toy is a dream… When it works anyway.Out of the box, my daughter was immediately in love with this toy. We can’t have cats in our home due to allergies. So, this is the closest thing my daughter has ever had to the “real thing,” and seeing her eyes light up when the cat walked and meowed was great moment.From there, things got a bit more iffy. This is largely due to the relatively poor quality of the components used in the construction of this toy. Plastics are thin and somewhat lacking in durability, electronics are wired loosely, and the controller wiring is incredibly thin. As a result, this cat works sometimes… but never consistently. Undoubtedly it is only a matter of time before it breaks down completely.That’s altogether disappointing, especially when considering the price point of this toy. For nearly $40, customers should get something that is reliable and durable… but this simply isn’t it.I’m not looking forward to the day this toy breaks for good. Odds are my daughter will be very disappointed. Until then, she will enjoy it to the max, however!3/5 stars, overall!

My cat actually loves this and has decided it’s her toy
This is really a nice item and of course the cat is so cute and his realistic meows. It was very easy to set up. It came with so many cute little accessories. You have to add the batteries which I had no problem doing. And then you plug in the cord and you have to press the button for it’s a walk and move around. There are other buttons in the remote, but the only one that will work is the one that you pressed by the handle to make it walk. I think the other buttons are just like decoration. I know other people said it was off and on when we were working but for me it worked perfectly fine. I had no problems. Also, I do know that you have to keep it up in the upright position and not pick it up and try to press the button so it just has to be on a flat surface for it to work well. That being said it’s a really good quality made items. The fur is so realistic. Also, the tongue that comes out and licks that feels like a real tongue it’s kind of cool. My Persian cat loves this toy and has claimed it as her own. Whenever I press the button, she comes and grabs it and hugs it. She just loves it. Also, when it meows, she comes running like crazy so really it’s a nice companion for a cat as well as for a kid. So far I love it and the battery lasts so long. I only charge it once and it’s been working for like the whole week.

Walking Toy Cat – Cute but a Bit Glitchy
This toy cat is adorable, and the accessories make it fun for little kids to “take care” of their pet. The soft fur and little details like the bottle and salmon add a nice touch. However, the walking and meowing functions can be hit or miss—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. The instructions aren’t great, so it takes a little trial and error to figure out. The licking feature is cute, but the movement can feel a little awkward. If you’re getting it for a toddler, they’ll probably love it, but just know it’s more of a novelty than a high-functioning interactive toy.

Super fun! Wags tail & meows when petted!
I was under the impression that the little accessories did some effect when brought close to the cat, they don’t. The whole set is extremely fun and satisfying in my opinion, however! The cat is so very soft to pet and doesn’t shed hairs from regular use. Putting his collar on him was just so sweet, watching my child’s eyes when the cat walked up to her was priceless. She didn’t understand that it was really *her petting* that was making the cat react yet so the whole thing was just very cute. The paw remote only had 1 button, this made the cat walk because without the leash he seems to just purr and shake his tail, tongue for us. I love it, it was a super fun gift to give my baby girl until our real cat can live with us again.Takes 3 AA batteries and the box is super cute with cat graphics and great for storage. The petting function worked great for my younger child and all the accessories were pretty durable to chew or throw. The neck port isn’t even that visible without the leash. I also think it’s a great toy to encourage crawling & walking exercise.
