Works, but not quite as designed
Although the directions were difficult to read, it was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It didn’t work for me in its usual configuration because it made the toilet area too crowded and difficult to reach things. However, I quickly realized that the gripper feet and the adjustable features of the safety rail works well as a non-drill side-rail (see picture). So far, having a rail on one side provides all the support I need. If more support is needed, I could unfold the rail and put it in front of me. I used the foam packing cushions to provide cushioning between the rail and the wall to prevent damaging the wall. I have been using it for a few days, and it works great. I am unable to install a wall mounted safety rail because I am renting.

Excellent customer support
Useful product that effectively provides needed support for a family member with mobility issues. After a little over a year of the rigors of daily use, the plastic clips that hold the pins stopping the side arms from moving laterally broke, allowing the pins to work loose and make the side arms a bit wobbly (although still steady enough). OasisSpace Customer Support was very responsive (less than 24 hours to respond to an email inquiry) and, although the warranty period had expired, went the extra mile and immediately sent out replacement parts. Problem solved and back to as sturdy and good as new. Could probably have rigged a repair of my own with some locking hitch-pins but nice to have a manufacturer support their product without fuss – which is becoming much less common these days!

Doesn’t fit all toilets.
It didn’t fit around the older toilet I ordered it for. The shape of the toilet tank pushed the open lid forward into a very uncomfortable position when using it. I kept it as it did work with our other toilet. It is quite steady when using and not too hard to assemble. Still looking for one that works with the more convenient en-suite toilet.

Stable, though doesn’t initially feel like it
Bought this for my elderly mom with Parkinson’s. The previous toilet rails we used needed to attach under the toilet seat, which cannot be done under her new bidet seat. While this initially didn’t seem very stable, because of the bars resting behind the toilet seat lid when it is open, it doesn’t falter when she gets up or down. I did wrap a washcloth around the back bars where they rest against the toilet – this keeps it from clinking, makes it fit more snuggly, is more comfortable if my mom sits on the toilet with the lid closed to get dressed, and I can toss simply toss it into the washing machine to clean. I put only 4 stars because the suction cups to help with stability aren’t the best and it SEEMS as if it isn’t as stable as it really is, which is a drawback as my mom doesn’t feel as safe as she is.

After having surgery on my leg with the instruction of no weight bearing on the leg for the next 6 to 8 weeks I went ahead and ordered the toilet rail from OasisSpace through Amazon. It arrived promptly and the installation was easy. However couple E-clips were not in the package. The E-clips are to secure the side railings from moving.Instead of returning the item back to Amazon I emailed customer service at OasisSpace concerningthemissingclips. Within the same day Betty from their customer service team contacted me. She understood the importance and my need. Within several days I received the clips in the mail. As you can see in the photo the toilet rail has been installed. I’m very pleased with the toilet rail. Thank you OasisSpace.

Grandpa fell and hit his head :/
This did the job for a few months but may not be stable enough for the unsteady. The suction never really worked well which is important to consider if you have floor tiles (which many do). It works great if pressure is even on both handles. Unfortunately, it’s very unstable if only applied to one side which happened when my grandfather lost his balance. It wasn’t stable enough to help him catch himself.He ended up falling and hitting his head on the side of the tub which prompted me to quickly search for a more stable alternative.

Still Using!
I ordered this product a couple of years ago because I had a knee replacement surgery. It has helped me to mentally get up and off the toilet. I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. The best part is that there is nothing to install and I’ve never had any problems with it. It is sturdy, easy to set up, and foldable. I took it with me on a long car trip to youth in hotels, etc..

This product is ideal for me and the stage of life I am at. I can still get on and off the toilet without help but find it is getting more and more difficult, thus this item is a big help. . It can be wobbly but so far I have not had any problems with that. I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t have to be attached to the toilet and can be easily removed and folded when not needed. For reference I am a plus size girl and liked the space between the chair arms and legs, I fit well.

This was the only product I could find to work with a bidet seat installed. Most safety rails bolt into the toilet but this is not possible with a bidet seat assembly. Bidet seats are quite high at the back. The Oasis rail sits just above the bidet assembly and can be adjusted vertically. Additionally, the adjustable width feature is a big plus. Clean the floor and the suction cups well and add a bit of petroleum jelly to the cups to ensure proper adhesion. When installing, make sure the suction cups lie on flat tile – not over grout lines. The rails are not as steady as the bolt-down ones but if installed correctly, will provide enough support. My main reason for getting it was to accommodate the bidet seat while having rail support, and this works well for that purpose.
