Not just for puppies… kittens too!
In 2012 my kitten was teething so I bought her one of the Nylabone Kitten Chew toys. She wasn’t impressed. Kind of half-heartedly gave it a chew or two once. After that she was no longer interested. Which was just as well because, although the product is really pleasing to the eye, it gave me the willies because it is very small and could easily be swallowed by a larger kitten.We had a cat once that chewed the end off a plastic hairbrush and swallowed it. She had to be operated on to remove the piece from her intestines and it was a very expensive traumatic operation. She was lucky we caught it early and her intestines had not started to die off yet. But either way, it was a very dangerous situation for our lovely kitty and I would not want to see a repeat with any cat of mine or anyone else’s for that matter.So, as an alternative, I decided to try the Nylabone Puppy Teething Pacifier Chew Toy, Extra-Small which I got and which my kitty paid more attention to. She actually used it almost daily when she was little!To this day, she still uses this Nylabone Puppy Teething Pacifier Chew Toy, every now and again. She kind of chews at it and likes to drag it around a bit too. Not a real action thingy, but she does interact with it fairly often, albeit just briefly each time. Especially if we make sure that the ring is in an upright position. That’s the part she likes to gnaw on the most. Hardly any sign of wear on the puppy toy, even now, over 3 years later.

If you watch the video, I am really unsure if my pup loves or hates these keys! However .. they keep her very busy and still loves them even after the teething phase. She plays with these a lot, just be careful if your dog can throw things (lol!)They are very sturdy and my small dog is unable to ruin them. They are so hard, I would be surprised if a medium or large dog would even do any damage to them. I recommend them for teething or even just for fun!
