This protein powder cannot mix with water
The can of protein I got, tastes very bad. I think it is either expired or no produced well. I added cold water, and it won’t mix. I added hot water and it became flakes. I cooked and it became hard concrete. Not recommend this powder.

Quality whey isolate at a price
The flavor is mostly neutral. Like other unflavored isolates I have had, there is a taste but it’s not overpowering and it mixes well in just water without any clumping in my shaker bottle. It also goes great with other things like peanut butter powder and cocoa powder.This is actually really good whey isolate in the sense that they’re guaranteeing at least 90% isolate by weight (which essentially means less fat and lactose – as you can see there’s basically no fat and almost no no sugar or cholesterol in this – protein is 4 calories per gram and that’s what you get here). I have a mild lactose sensitivity and whey concentrate tends to bloat me and make me uncomfortable, but the good isolates don’t seem to bother me, such as this one.However, it is pricey and you could almost get a 5 lb. tub of whey isolate from another brand for a similar cost as the 9.7 oz here (although they might not be guaranteeing 90% or better isolate be weight). I didn’t notice much of a difference between this and my usual whey isolate, or at least nothing to justify the price difference in my opinion.

I like that this Whey Protein Isolate has no sugar or Carbs. being unflavored makes this easy to mix in whatever I want. I don’t like that The Jar is small with only has 12.5 adult servings. It is just not a good value with all the other Choices in protein powders available.

Mixes Well – Unflavored
This whey protein isolate is basically unflavored and mixes well with hot or cold liquids pretty easily. Because of the neutral taste, it can be added to smoothies, shakes, and other beverage depending on your preference. I was happy to see that this contained Arginine as one of the typical amino acids. A family member is recovering from surgery and has a wound complication that is taking a while to heal. The medical center suggested increasing protein intake and possibly supplementing her diet with Arginine powder to promote better healing. She seems to be tolerating this particular protein powder well, and we’re hopefully reaping the benefits of increasing her protein and providing the amino acids which may help her wound heal. It’s easy to use and very versatile. It’s a bit of an investment, but if it helps her to heal, then it will be worth it. We have no complaints so far using it.

This is intended to be a dietary supplement for people who are not getting enough protein in their diet. It’s not exactly targeted at weightlifters. Based on the serving sizes I would say it’s mostly targeting malnourished children and the occasional adult.This powder is about as neutral in flavor as it can be. The idea is to add this to various things that kids or adults are going to eat anyway to supplement their protein intake. This mixes very well with just a glass and spoon, but a shaker works a little bit better. It is intended to be as neutral as it can be in every way except delivering better nutrition.In that regard, this works perfectly. It literally has no taste. I think if this was mixed in with a glass of milk, you wouldn’t even know because the powder itself doesn’t thicken the fluid very much at all.I could also see healthier people using this as a typical protein additive in a smoothie or even some kind of pancake recipe that someone needs to come up with. At any rate, there is nothing bad about this protein at all.

High quality protein but not many servings and faint strange taste
I like that this protein powder keeps it simple and pure without many additives at all. The only ingredients are whey protein isolate and soy lecithin. The powder has a slight clumpy consistency and is an off white color. It mixes well to a thick milky cream consistency with no sediment, pulp, or other texture. This is the first unflavored protein powder I have tried and it is not my favorite. It doesn’t have the most flavor but has a somewhat milk and vanilla taste. The appearance is mostly opaque white but with a little translucent to it. The first time I drank this I had an adult serving and a half with 6 scoops as I wanted the 30g of protein and felt slight nausea afterwards. Since then I have not felt that.The jar contains 275g with a serving for an adult being 22g there are 12.5 servings in the jar which makes this on the smaller side for servings.
